When ever im at school I always make sure i sit down first because i hate to sit next to people, not like because i dont want to sit next to anyone. Its just that when i have to choose to sit next to someone i always think 'what if they don't like you, they may not want you to sit next to them' And i dont want to be known to be annoying or mean or something. If someone invites me to sit next to them, i do because they oviously dont mind me sitting next to them.
Does anyone else think this when they have to choose to sit next to someone? and any advice to overcome this thought?

having trouble...spent money on school, and just moved to dothan alabama... Seems they are all family owned and opperated here, I'm a new mommy who's trying to buy a house and start a career in this field...but I'm getting dead ends!

The bible is the word of God. So is John 1:1 talking about the same word? Is the book we hold in our hands the creative power the made the universe?

I don't think it is.

The old testament is a collection of historical record, law, moral stories, etc.

It may have been inspired by the almighty but it is not his words. Men wrote it. In some cases they wrote down what God said word for word but men wrote it all.

Jesus didn't write the new testament. His followers did. They wrote it from their point of view, eye witnesses, and some personal experiences.

Translators have tainted it through the years by translating it to match their doctrine. That isn't done as much any more but it does happen.

Now you have further watering down with such translations like the Message and Word on the Street.

My point is this and question is this:

Is the bible a tool to discover God and his son Jesus? Is it something to give us an idea on morality that is expected of us by God?

i'm a christian. gays say god made them that way because of a mistake. any true christian knows god is perfect. my brother came out a few days ago so i've been pondering homosexuallity a lot. it's really weird. I've known him for 18 years yet never knew he was gay. also, he was sleeping with is gf barely a month ago! i honestly believe being gay is a choice. I also believe homosexuallity is more likely to happen without positive male role models. my mom wears the pants in the house. dad's a pu$$y! following orders and whatnot. before he got married he used to hunt. mom got rid of that. she through a fit when I started karate! she wanted me to quit but i didn't listen because it's my favorite hobby. when i was 13 i got caught w/ porn/playboys and my parents made me feel immoral for it. my gay bro (str8 back then) saw it. if/when i catch my kids w/ porn i'm not gonna panic (depending on their age)

I have a gigabyte GA-7VM400M motherboard. I am intending to buy a NVIDIA GeFORCE 6200 TC 256 MB PCI-E GPU. So i would like to know if my motherboard will support it. I need to be a better computer operator. My ambition is to understand all the basics of computing without going too much into mathematics as this subject was not exactly my forte in school. I work with computers and I need to learn more. Stuff like, how to fix problems in hardware and software (particularly the Windows operating system). I would be happy if anyone out there directed me to free internet computer courses that would address my needs. I cannot afford to pay for such courses so I require free courses. Courses to do with computer maintenance, networking and if possible individual Microsoft packages will be quite helpful. Also, I would like to learn about computer programming. In short, I want to understand everything about computers and I need this knowledge to be as practical as possible so that I can apply it to my workplace and possibly rise up the ranks of my IT department.

My wonderful girlfriend and I had been dating for over a year, and so we decided to get married. There was only one little thing bothering me...It was her beautiful younger sister.
