A country doctor is called out in the middle of the night to assist a backwoods family in the birth of their first child. Upon arrival he sees there is no electricity, so he asks the young father to get their oil lamp and hold it high so he can see. After about twenty minutes , he see the baby's head. He tells the father, "We have a boy" as the excited father lets the light drop slightly the doctor says "Whoa, wait a minute hold that light back up there now, I think we got another." Sure enough immediately comes a baby girl, the father looks dumbfounded and the doctor tells him to continue to hold the light. About two minutes later another baby girl is born, again the father is speechless, and is standing there scratching his head. As the doctor once again asks him to hold the light up, the father seems to know just what is going on. After the next son is born, and the doctor has delivered four babies, the father looks at the doctor and he says, "You reckon it's that there light that is attracting them?"

Been seeing this great girl for a few weeks and hit it off right from the start. Problem is im falling fast for her and i wanna know if she sees a lasting relationship with us because sometimes its hard to tell. Is she just having fun or does she want to get serious. Here's my thought. Sometimes this whole immigration thing just frustrates me. The first time I came to this country was through a student visa, then I went back home after I graduated college. My parents had to pay about $1,200 more than the average student because I came from another country. I ended up coming back to the US through a HB1 visa stayed 4+ years. Then I hired an attorney to do all the paper work for me so I could become a US Resident.

What blows me away is how people can just come here and get all these services, for free. While my road to being a US Resident has be a costly one.

This does not only frustrate me but it also frustrates my co-works who are from Spain and Latin America. We came here with work visas had attorneys do the paper work for us. We are college educated but yet people with barely a 6th grade education get a free ride.

Talk about double standards!

The neighbours claim our beautiful cat simply prefers their quiet abode to our own house and has chosen to move in with them. In fact they have encouraged her to spend time with them by offering her platefuls of fresh cream, delicious snacks and loads of affection every time she enters their house. We call for her a couple of times a day but she won't budge - she just sits on the neighbour's balcony.

We desperately want to get her back. We think the neighbours have stepped over the line here and have basically stolen her in quite an underhand and devious manner. What to do?

I am just wondering if this is true or not.
I heard that women use both sides of their brain at one time. But men only use 1 side of their brain off and on.
Is this true? The person who told me read it in a magazine.
What do you think?
I mean I know that sometimes women seem like they don't use their brains. But men don't use theirs all the time either!

I have a 2001 Infiniti G20- I went to start yesterday and it would not start- all the dash lights worked and headlights were bright- it just did not turn over - their was no sound- a friend of mine said to try to tap on the alternator- i did and it started- i turned it off and would not start again- a tried it again and tapped the alternator and it started- Would it be my alternator that is bad or could it be something else???

I have a hose on the top of the tank that shoots water into it, the guppy's always go under it and shoot straight down to the bottom and go back up. My swordtail's don't do it just my guppy's is this normal?

Other than that they always chase each other, it does not look like they are nipping so I am not that worried but still is that normal to?

Okay so I went to YEC and I got inspired to creat something called the Downtown Project... What this includes is going out to downtown Houston and preach to drug addicts and such... I had these kids come to my door telling me a story of their guy they look up to finding these golden texts from south america he dug out of the ground and then translated into english and then i was excited cuz i was like wow you have the golden texts in this wierd language somewhere!? And at that point they were like well no an angel came and took them away. Yah how convenient. Ill try that next time a cop asks for my license and insurance. Also, if I was going to be a really religious dude and spend a freaking year or whatever peddling my butt around the country preaching it would be for a religion thats older than a couple hundred years. If youre a mormon you really need to take a look at what you believe in.

I think i'll just use a shallow bowl of ice under a fan. Good enough for me, but if I add salt and some water to that bowl of ice, will it cool the air even more than just that plain bowl of ice?
