Watermelon is "practically a multivitamin unto itself." Fat-free and low in calories, watermelon is a fair to good source of vitamins A, B6 and C; thiamine; and potassium, a mineral essential to water balance in the body.
1 1/2 cups of ripe, red watermelon contains 9 to 13 milligrams of lycopene. That's about 40 percent more than raw tomatoes, which were previously thought to be the leading fruit or vegetable source.
A one-cup serving of watermelon will provide around 48 calories.Watermelon seeds are rich in fat and protein, and are widely eaten as a snack, added to other dishes, or used as an oilseed.Watermelon is 92 percent water by weight, the highest percentage of any fruit.
All in all I would have to say that watermelon is not only tasty but healthy as well.
I hope this was helpful,Take Care!!! :)

It is perfectly good for you. Putting alot of salt or other stuff on it might not be good. I ate a small whole melon once. Weighed about 10 pounds. If you do this, you have got about a half hour to find a toilet that you can occupy for the next few hours.
Ducolax aint got nothing on watermelon.( I havent done this since and I was much younger and dumber)
