My little cousin just turned 4 years old, and like most 4 year olds he an be spastic at times. They live in a different state than us, but my aunt and my mother are still very close. it seems like everytime my mom gets off the phone with my aunt, she tells me about a harsh punishment that she has given her son (my cousin). i have heard of her trapping him in a carseat in the basement, closing the door, and then turning out the light (he is very afraid of the dark). i have heard of her trapping him in the basement MANY times, and if she EVER cathes him spitting she washes him moth out with sope, which has lye in it, which could potentially make him very sick . She is also liberal with spankings. She was never like this with her other child when she was that age, and she was equally as high strung. Do you think that this is borderline abusive, harsh, or just over the top? i want to know if i am overreating. is it really no big deal?

My cat got sprayed by a skunk last night/this morning.
I really need some ideas on how to get the smell gone i tried this stuff called Natures miracel but it only worked a bit. I know the best remedy is Tomato juice but my cat IS NOT going to let me do that to her?

any sugestions will help.

my nan has a new dog only a few months old, shes a cross between a scottie and a cain terrior. well shes soo hyper, but in a nasty way she grabs shoes laces on people and pulls them when you try stop her she has this horrible growl, but the worst of her problems is her biting you dont even have to go near her, she gets up on things and jumps in the air to get to you face.
