isn't it illegal for any organization to deny someone something just based on race alone? If I were to apply for college money I would be turned down solely because of my race, because I'm white. How is this not racist? I can see the use of BET and stuff like that because let's face it, there are more white based programs on tv than anything, I don't have a problem with BET. But black people can get college money from the government, such as Pell grants, just as much as a white person can. But a white person cannot get college money from the United ***** College Fund. In my mind, this is racist! What if there were a United White People's College Fund that denied people just because of their race? That would be racist too, and never tolerated! Can someone please explain this to me?

Adam and Eve (the first 2 people on Earth) was white and they had kids and so on and so on and they was all white. Who did black people appear then?? Did God seat Black people in another area or something or did one day a couple of mothers had a child and they was black or something, what??

Also, if there was only 2 first people on Earth and they had kids and so on and so on, woldn't we all be related to each other then??

Could you imagine someone transported from 1007 A.D. to NYC Times Square in 1,000 years later?? Talk about a total mind fukc... how come there aren't any realistic SCI-FI movies about the future?

i am a Christian and i can admittedly see the Pagan influences in the holidays we have to celebrate Christ. for example, Easter and its symbolism of the bunny and easter eggs. definitely influenced by pagan holidays of fertility in my opinion. also, i am not so sure that the times we celebrate these holidays are exactly when these events happened, such as Christs birth. anyone else feel this way, or am i wrong?

Ive been with this guy for about two weeks already. I get these bad cringing feelings when he comments me on myspace, or when I see a picture of him. But when it actually comes to him in real life, he makes me SOO happy. We are just together holding hands, everything. Im confused basically. Yesterday we were kissing alot [not really making out, just kiss after kiss on the lips] and I was happy. Then after a while I started to feel nothing in our kiss. Like I was still happy, but it was concerning me how I started to feel hollow in my chest and no feeling in the kiss.
It just makes no sense how I can be happy, then all of a sudden no feelin in the kiss? As well as the cringing feelings. Those arent right. There must be something wrong. I got those bad feelings as I described how I felt happy and we kissed. It was true though!! I was delighted.

What can it be....

Okay. So my friend's father beats her and sexually melested her when she wuz 8, 9, 10, 11 and12. She's really depressed and is VVVVVEEEEEERRRRRYYYYY suicidal!!! I've talked to her a lot and she's really open. For the last 2+ wks. my son has been sleeping from ~9pm-2am/2:30am-5am, and even 8:30pm-4:30am twice. The last 4 days or so he has been waking up ~3-4 times btwn. ~8:30pm-5am. We haven't changed our routine at all. Does anyone know why this is, and if it will go back? Also, is it wrong to sleep in a different room as my baby and just wake up when I hear him cry?

I really want a '97 to '01 Honda Crv. I have enough money to finance one and I'm almost 18. We only have one car and we all have to share and sometimes it gets really hard. Now my sister doesn't work at the same job I do so its harder to share the car. BTW the car is shared by my mom, sis , and me. I think that if I get my own car things would be easier. I know I could pay payments on a car cause I've saved up all of my money. How would I ask or convience my mom to let me finance a car? how would I do it and what would I say? One of them is less than a year old and the other is about 6 years old. The 6 year old is very skiddish because she was battered as a youngster and she does not respond well to confined spaces (like the carrier) and neither of them really like the car. I have heard that sedating them could be harder on them but looking at the older cats situation would it be?
