I am shopping battery for my D70. they are all called EN-EL3, but seems some has capacity of 1400mAh, some has capacity: 1500mAh. I am wondering are they different? which ones are better?

Bigger is better. There is barely a difference, but the 1500 mAh may last a little longer between charges.

The higher the capacity the longer it will last. It's that simple. Hence 2000mAh will last even longer than 1500mAh.

I use a 2100mAh and it lasts much longer than the 1400mAh i used.

Better to go with the higher one.

1500 is a little better

Bigger is better.

Kodak makes AA rechargable batteries that are 2500 mAh!
