I just had to laugh at the responses to this. Anti-American...hhahahahahahaha.
I guess this country was founded on complacency...that must be the real American way.

What this question represents is the emerging idea of cooperation in the world to achieve goals. Children are just now being taught that you dont need to always be the leader etc. team dynamics. Up to this time the greatest definition of being american is a rugged individual not part of a closely linked team.
What I like best is the answers saying
If you dont like it leave. (thats democracy and patriotism for many americans)
criticizing the behavior of those in office is what true patriots do!!
If you attack the mythology of the Nationalists (of which there are entirely too many in this country) you get labelled as antiamerican. We are not a peace loving nation never have been but realistically not many can say the same.

Which one of those countries was invaded by the United States? How many countries has the United States ever taken land from after a war?
I feel incredibly sorry for the radical left sometimes. I truly do. It must be terrible to be bogged down by guilt and stewing in self-hatred, loathing, and misery all the time.

Guess which country has used its military for so much good for so many innocent people and has never asked for anything in return? That's right. AMERICA!
I don't care who likes us or who doesn't. All I know is that when a country is in trouble they call on the U.S.A.

If we are such a bad country why do you live here?? Those who attack the US do not need to keep using the resources of this country. Go to one of those countries that really stifles human rights or a country where the dictator is permitted to abuse the people. Bush makes mistakes but He does not fill his pockets with money from the slavery trade or confiscation of personal property.
