Just finished his sixth Women's Murder Club book and was checking out his website. ABC is making a series in the fall with the four original members of the club. I think it is going to be so cool, and I don't usually watch television but I sure will in the fall.

First, please don't assume I'm taking sides here. I'm an atheist. However, I can't help but notice the abuse that Islam takes on this board, all day and night long, every day and night. Here are my questions:

Why is it that, when anyone quotes one of the many violent verses found in the Bible, they're "taking it out of context' - but when someone does the same with a verse from the Quran, it proves that Islam equals violence and hate?
Why do you allow Christianity the 'not a true Christian' defense, but never allow that extremists within Islam might be just that - extremists?
Why do you complain that Muslims aren't speaking out against the terrorists, but when they do and cite relevant Quran verses to show that the extremists are wrong, you say they're making excuses for them?

Finally: Do you ever wonder if maybe all the abuse the Muslims are taking now isn't the persecution your god spoke of that was to come in the last days? Maybe Islam is the correct religion?

I have organized the cards he picked up at a flea market by using baseball collection explorer. I have also printed a price guide from tuff stuff website. I know the cards are worthless he gave .50 for bundles of 100 and he got 3 packs of these. But I am trying my best to do this with him. On the software it has a column for the "set". Is this his personal number or were the cards made in sets. I have no clue of how to help him.

Why is that a ton of people (most of which republicans) do not believe in global warming. Global warming is a real problem!!!! Have you seen the melting ice caps and the lakes and the oceans disappearing? How do you explain that? We did not pray enough to god???? God would not hurt living things. You have to notice that this is a real problem!!! I saw the Al Gore movie. What are we going to do when the earth starts to melt? And even if you believe in Global warming but think "That does not effect me because the earth will blow up in 30 years and I will be dead by then". What about your children and there children?????
Please tell me why you are being so closed minded that you can't admit global warming is happening???!!!! God gave us this earth and it is our job to take care of it!!!!

Now I know that this is an extremely serious situation BUT there is also something sickeningly funny about it too. Two girls in Oklahoma, a 10yr old and a 12yr old have been arrested for kidnapping a neighbours baby and leaving a ransom note for £100,000 . The poor mother must have been at her wit's end and my heart goes out to her but on the other hand, puttting aside all the serious cases like Jamie Bulger, there is just something about it that kinda hits the funny bone. We as a society just don't think of 10 & 12yr olds as kidnappers, that distinction is usually reserved for hardened criminals not children and I have difficulty seeing this without thinking "Someones Extracting the Michael". Before you judge me too harshly remember I do have a twisted sense of humour.
SO Could you see humour in this report..?
