doubt my mom ever had $340 at one time. back in the 50s, that was a HECK of a lot of money. i did take a quarter once, was caught and lied about it. blamed my little sister. i was made to bite into a bar of soap. never even THOUGHT of doing anything like that since, and that was prob 45 years ago, lol.

I stole the car a few times to rendezvous with the ladies. I always snuck it back in time for my dad to go to work. I also added back the gas I used.

my mum had a money tin on the fridge and i just to take some coins out so i could get lunch at school. she preferred to give us a packed lunch i preferred to get a pie!
