If the battery is new, you should be able to recharge it with no problem. If you are worried, recharge the battery and have it load tested (any auto part store can do the test, and usually will not charge you to do it). If the battery passes the load test, you are fine!

how long is too long? Technically, you can recharge a dead battery, by taking it on an extended drive, after you jump start it. At least half an hour. But if that doesn't work and you still have to jump start every time you want to drive the car, then you should get it replaced.

Sealed battery - use a slow charger. If it takes the charge your cae will start up right away. The first drive needs to be an auto parts store that will test it for free for you. They'll let you know the condition of the battery.
If not sealed - make sure all cells are filled with distilled water. Try the slow charge and do the same as above.
If it doesn't take the charge in either case above, get the new battery and a decent warranty.
Get an auto service(AAA) just in case that or something else happens.

Try recharging it and if that doesn't work then you need to get another battery. In general it's not good to let a car sit that long without being started.

i have done this a few times. get your car jump started then drive around for a little bit.
driving helps recharge the battery. an old battery you will still have problems, but a new battery after driving around a bit should be as good as new.

Car batteries do not like sitting for long periods in a discharged state.
It may recover somewhat with some good charging but it is likely that it will never be as good as it could be.
Perhaps its good enough to start your car , perhaps not.

bounce your female chum some greater situations, then bypass bounce her motor vehicle battery and get it began. permit it idle for around a 0.5 hour, or possibly in basic terms take a cruise around city for around a 0.5 hour. this might supply the motor vehicle lots of time to cost the battery returned up.

you always try that first but make sure when you drive the car to have jumper cables and not go away from civilization in case you need help. if you live in alabama this may not be possible though
