Apparently the cost of live earth is $3 Billion and is going to be carbon neutal if we plant enough trees according to the highly intellectual Joss Stone.

What if the pop stars stayed at home paid proper taxes and donated the $3 Billion to fight aids and homelessness?

What do you think is going on here, an excuse for a gig to earn money for those who make a living out of promoting the environment, or does your level of awareness need raising?

Will those watching drink, smoke and inject sufficient substances to be aware of even where the tiolets are?

Today's world doesn't seem to support the bibles description of God. Look at the amount of innocent death in the world today. Then think how can God be All loving, All knowing, and All powerful. You can only really pick 2 out of the 3. Maybe he is All loving but doesn't know about what's happening or can't do anything about it. Or maybe he can do something about it, but just chooses not to. That would make him Powerful and Knowing.... Just not loving... See the paradox here. He can't be all three. Or the world would not be the way it is today.... You wouldn't be able to explain the rape and murder of a small innocent child. Even though it happens more times then anybody would like to admit... My question, is this just ignored in church or temple.. Or do you have a reason for this...?

It's Terrorist Surveillance, Not Domestic Spying

"A federal appeals court today ordered the dismissal of a lawsuit challenging President Bush's domestic spying program..." It wasn't a domestic spying program! "The two-to-one ruling by the sixth US Circuit Court of Appeals panel was not on the legality of the program itself. What the ruling did was vacate an order by a lower court in Detroit last August that the post-9/11 warrantless surveillance aimed at uncovering terrorist activity was unconstitutional, violating rights to privacy and free speech. The ACLU led the suit on behalf of other groups, including lawyers, journalists, and scholars, it says have been handicapped in doing their jobs by the government monitor." It was not "domestic spying," and the AP knows it by virtue of how they write it up in the third paragraph.

Okie, im making a sims 2 movie and i need a good song that sorta relates to the story or just sounds good as a backgrounds song. This is what the movie is gonna be about, a story about a girl feeling isolated in this world? She did not choose to be a loner, but people assume that she prefers to be alone. So they left her alone. The pain of being alone 24/7 made her to develop an imaginary friend.

She's finally happy, living in her own world... with her imaginary friend. People think she's normal but one day, her parents saw her talking and laughing to herself.

They sent her to a shrink. The shrink told her parents what's going on in this girl's life. Realising that her parents and the shrink (and the whole world, it seems) are trying to take her ONLY "friend" away from her, the girl retaliated.
e.e yeah. So, if you know a good song to go with this i would be eternally grate full

It's something that I generally laugh off, and i've only ever used the reporting system on a couple of occassions where the offense has been extreme and very personal. One was a very nasty attack on my 4 year old daughter (from a "christian").

I can't imagination atheists actually be small minded enough to report the christians every time they tell us we'll burn in hell, even though it's a blatant violation of guidelines.

Would there be many christians left here if we all reported them everytime they went against guidelines?

The car is an '03 and has about 55k miles and two weeks ago the clutch broke. I got the car back today and the clutch pedal feels far different then it did before the clutch broke. I only owned the car a month so I am not sure how it should feel. The shop put on a kit with bearings and stuff to fix the car.

Now there is next to no resistance to the clutch pedal, and it doesn't gradually catch, more of a sudden catch.

Also second and third gears make a ggggrt noise, worse with second. Third is a slight grt that is not much, second is a long loud grrrrrt!. It sounds like I didn't fully engage the clutch. The other gears have no problems.

The shop said it should go away and to just drive carefully with the car until then...

Anyone here have any advice for me in this matter?
