it is possible depending on the size and location of the growth, my mum had it once and she explained how it worked to me

if it is a small growth it does not pose as a problem to get pregnant or keep a pregnancy

but if it is large she said the the fibroid (growth) seems like a fetus to the uterus, therefore stopping fertilization of any egg because the uterus has the impression that it is already nurturing one.

the large ones can also cause extreme bleeding.

all in all ask your doctor to break it down very well to you because my mother migth have left some things out.

Yes, it can, because the fibroids are adhering to the spot where the embryo would be embedding in mama's uterus.

If you are trying to get pregnant, talk to your dr. about getting a D&C so you start with a nice, clean room for baby to grow.

I am not a medical professional. I worked as a tech in the field for a while, but if you're really worried, you should consult a dr.

No, it cant prevent you from getting pregnant. However if the baby attaches itself to a fibroid you have a greater possibility of misscarrying the baby. It also depends on the size and number of fibroids. If you have many or one large one then they will need to be removed. If its just one or two little ones then you should be able to conceive and carry without problems. I had multiple fibroids and had to have a myomectomy to remove them. It was 3 months later that I became pregnant.

No, though it can make it difficult to get pregnant, and sometimes to keep the pregnancy. You would most likely be considered a high risk pregnancy because of them.
