Well, they were contemporaries, meaning that they all were alive at the same time.

Do you mean were they "contemporary" as in "modern", or were they contemporaries, i.e., alive at the same time?

They were all alive at the same during the 1950s, but Dean died first in 55. Then Monroe in 62, Kennedy in 63 of course, and Presley in, I think, 77.

I'm not sure what you are asking. Are you wanting to know if they were "ahead of their time?" I would say no - each of them came along at just the right time. If the world had not been ready for them they could not have made such a huge impact on it. As some one who was around during that era I can tell you one thing. The word "contemporary" was not popular back then. You heard the word "modern" much more often.

yes they were in fact jfk was having an affair with marilyn monroe at the time. she had been with dean previously so yes they would all have been around at the same time and with elvis he would have just started his singing career when jfk got into politics.
