I love Alfredo sauce, in fact, I just cooked some yesterday, but I used shrimp instead.
Follow these steps:
1. 1 tbsp butter
2. saute the garlic in the butter.
3. I'm not sure if pork chop is gonna taste good with alfredo sauce. I would recommend shrimp or chicken breast put in the garlic and butter for 15-20 minutes and separate for later, so that they won't be overcooked. Still check if they're good enough.
4. put 1 cup of half and half milk. (it depends how much you wanna cook.)
5. Put 4 tbsp of grated parmesan cheese.
5. put fresh chopped parsley.
6. a dash of nutmeg.
7. stirring occasionally. It will take a while to thicken the sauce.
8. Put back the chicken or shrimp in the sauce.
9. Serve hot.
Mine came out good. Yummy! Good luck!

ALFREDO SAUCE - NOT A MIX!
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons flour
1 cup cream (or half and half or milk)
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup shredded Italian cheeses (Mozzarella, Romano, etc.)
1/2 cup Parmesano Reggiano cheese (or plain Parmesan)
3 tablespoons fresh or 1-2 tablespoons dried parsley
4-5 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon fresh nutmeg
1/4 cup sherry or white wine
salt and pepper
Melt butter and add flour. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly to cook flour. Add cream and broth all at once and blend well. Add the remaining ingredients and stir until cheese has melted and sauce is smooth.
Pour over chicken, shrimp or pasta.
Additional cheese can be added to the topping, if desired. Bake in oven until cheese is golden brown.

This is one of my favorites.
1/4 cup butter
8 oz. of sliced mushrooms (goes well with pork)
Minced jarred garlic to taste
A few Tbsp of flour
A pint of heavy cream or half and half
A few handfuls of Parm/asiago/Romano blend
A pinch of white pepper and cayenne
Gotta have the garlic and mushrooms in it. And it goes really well with pork.
