Is it worth the effort to fly up to Prince Rupert and then get the 15 hour ferry down to Vancouver Island?

I'd love to do it but my family are a bit doubtful and need persuasion.

Im thinking about maybe building a few small wooden canoes to sell for a little extra money these things are a functioning work of art... they are perfect for duck hunters or one person to just slide back in the back country to do a little fishing they float in about 2 inches of water so you can go anywhere....

I own a 2001 BMW 330ci. Lately when driving at slow speeds (usually when coming to a stop) I notice that when I apply the brakes my car wants to pull to the left. Could this be a sign of a bad tie rod?

Also, please include cost estimates on how much a repair like this should cost. Thanks!
