Yes! The Harris County Hospital District has a program that helps. It's on a sliding scale from nothing for doctor's visits (and $5 for meds) to a portion of your wages. The number for the NorthWest Clinic is 713-526-4243. From that number you can get the number to be qualified, and go to a clinic in your neighborhood. If you need more info, go to my profile page and click on the email button. I will answer you.

Check with the city dept of health to see if they offer a free clinic. If not check with Baylor or University of Houston.

You could go to Ben Taub hospital near Herman Park. It's in the medical district. They take in poor people and treat them even if you don't have insurance. I know because a friend of mine didn't have insurance and was having an asthma attack and they treated him. He didn't even have a fixed address.
