i am on the first day of my period and i am supposed to start the pill today, known as the combined pill. however i have a pain so i am allowed to take a common pain killer aswell as the pill. is this safe?

If you've only started the pill, you'd only be taking the sugar tablets (which dont do anything really) so taking a paracetamol should be no problem. I'd always ask a chemist or dr first to make sure but i doubt there'd be any big issues.

Yes, it shouldn't be a problem. There's not a known contraindication between Paracetamol and birth control pills.

It is probably ok but I would recommend checking with your pharmacist as well to see what they say.
