According to Canadian law Canada Day is July 1 and a legalized Holiday. So I thought I didn't have to work on Sunday. But the law says that if Canada Day is on a Sunday, than we are allowed to work and the Monday is a Canada Day.

So is July 4 ALWAYS a Holiday that you get off, no matter what day of the week it falls on, even Sunday?

I have been with my boyfriend/fiance for six years. He really wants to have an open relationship, we he can sleep with other women. He wants more excitment or variety. I have been trying to deal with this, and trying to be comfortable with it. Just sex with other women, as in one-night-stand type deals (of course ones that have been tested and are clean) doesn't bother me as badly. I still just don't like the thought of him with someone else. But, he really wants to find one other person to have a long-term relationship on the side with. I just don't think I can handle that, and all the problems it brings. He has this idea that monogamy is wrong and that being with more than one person is natural. And when I tell him I just don't like him being with other people he can't understand it, he says. He says that its just something selfish, and that I want him all to myself so I can say I "own" him. And that's not it at all. I just don't know how to make him understand why it bothers me.

Would you believe this? (This goes out to smokers only, so if you don't smoke then don't read).
I have just been reading on the internet that officials in California are concerned about the rising number of smokers and that bar and restaurant owners are extending there properties to make smoking zones, to a point where the SZ are far superior to the actual bars and restaurants. God bless the yanks, I knew that they would find a way around this stupid law. And now it's only a matter of time before we do it over here and then we can keep all the non smokers in one place and not be bored silly with there boring conversations and there self righteous views and let this be a lesson to them not to interfere with the people of this country. We don't want dictators here.

I'm going to be a freshman in high school and cheerleading tryouts has already happened but i want to try out for cheerleading next year i have to do a backhand spring, kartwheel, etc.! We have to do lots of flips and i can't do any of them! Can ya'll tell me how i can learn the flips without going to a gymanstics teacher or join gymnastics?

I have recently learned that the NY legislature is attempting to pass a law disallowing the sale of ANY bicycles with quick release front wheels.

I am not kidding.

for more than two and half months.

In the dream I was in the funeral home supervising the workers getting his body ready for the funeral but some one dropped him and he fell on his face. I was furious and was trying to punish the idiot who did it(but didn't know who it was) and I remember in the dream that I spoke to the head undertaker(in real life).then later in the dream my father was laid on a table in a room, I was standing there and all of a sudden he woke up and started to move and get off the table. Of course in the dream I was overjoyed that he came back to life.

I know it's rather silly to be dwelling on this since I witnessed him being cremated and I picked one of his bones up and put it into an urn. Missing him terribly, I am just curious if this dream has any significant implication.

Only for believers of God/ the Bible. Do you believe there are signs that you are within God's will,( on the right path ). I do believe that it is useless, even destructive to be willful and try to perform works of the flesh, but what are signs that you are on the right path?
A side question is that
Psalm 91 says that he shall "give his angels charge over thee. They shall bear thee up in their hands Lest thou dash thy foot against a stone".
Yet in so many places in the Bible it says the rightous WILL SUFFER:
2 Thess 1:5 `which is' a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God; to the end that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
Acts 9:16 "must suffer"
2 Cor. 1:7 Partakers of the suffering
Phil. 1 :29 "suffer in his behalf
1 Thess 3:4 "we are to suffer affliction"
and many others.....
Obviously ALL the Martyrs were not in their hands, less they dash their foot......
