This is not a hard laughing joke.

A big-city, California, lawyer went duck hunting in rural Colorado.

He shot and dropped a bird, but it fell into a farmer's field on the other side of a fence. As the lawyer climbed over the fence, an elderly farmer drove up on his tractor and asked him what he was doing.

The litigator responded, "I shot a duck and it fell into this field, and now I'm going to retrieve it."

The old farmer replied, "This is my property, and you are not coming over here."

The indignant lawyer said, "I am one of the best trial attorneys in the U.S. and, if you don't let me get that duck, I'll sue you and take everything you own."

The old farmer smiled and said, "Apparently, you don't know how we do things in Colorado. We settle small disagreements like this with the Colorado Three-Kick Rule."

The lawyer asked, "What is the Colorado Three-Kick Rule?"

...facts and myths?

Myth: illgeal immigrants do not pay taxes
Fact: illegal immigrants pay taxes through sales tax and the employer sending in some of their paycheck money to the IRS before handing it to the employee

M: illegals are taking jobs
F: employers are exploiting illegals and paying them dirt. its the employers that are giving jobs to them, illegals do not take them. the employers feel that they can rip the the illegal immigrants off by paying them near to nothing for what they do. this is why they would rather hire an illegal than an american.

M: bilingual schools do not work
F: the schools that have successful bilingual programs have one or two classrooms with a bilingual teacher assigned. these teachers are paid the average teacher salary and aim to give the children an education while also teaching them english along the way. most children in bilingual schools are statistically citizens.

M: illegals committed a crime and are scum because of that
F: surveys show that most american drivers have received traffic tickets at least once in their lives. by the myth definition, most american drivers are therefore considered scum. We all know this is not true. the same should apply the other way around.

M: illegals alone drain the economy by getting on welfare
F: the majority of people on welfare are proven to be citizens in poor areas or in bad situations. this means that thousands upon thousands of citizens are also taking money from the economy

M: welfare without illegal would fix the problem
T: welfare itself is the problem. too many people abstain from getting a job because they feel that they can live off of welfare. if we established a court system in which you had to prove why you need welfare in front of a judge, the problem would be fixed better than any other measures suggested.

M: a huge wall on the border is ideal
F: a wall of that length, height, and width would cost more money than all the alleged money illegal immigrants would cost us. it is said that a wall as described would cost a good trillion or so upon completion, and even so, illegal immigrants would come in through the streets that go through the wall from mexico to america.

Seriously, I'm so sick of hearing about it. Go up to heaven with Jesus already! We really won't mind. I think we'll get along quite well without self-righteous religious fanatics.
As for this Anti-Christ person, what makes you think we're just all going to automatically listen to him? We don't listen to you do we? Just because you say 'everyone who gets left behind will obey the Anti-Christ' doesn't make it a fact. Maybe we won't like his stance on healthcare or the minimum wage. Do you think we're just going to throw out democracy because all of you left? Hell, we'd probably have a stronger democracy for awhile at least, because the system wouldn't be overrun with religious zealots with a political agenda.

I love Gatorade and I drink it all the time. At first my goal was to drink only one soda a day and now all I drink is Gatorade. My question is, I have a bottle of water maybe only three times a week while I drink the sports drink all day. Is this all right? I know water is good for you and you should drink a lot of it, but I just like Gatorade better.

At least I'm not having soda all day, right?

It's like they all are thinking, "I only have x amount of time, how can I pocket the most cash before I leave?". It's just like the whole cash flying around a phone booth thing you see on game shows.
