my guy broke up with his girlfriend of 6 years back in december, he still talks about her, but mostly bad stuff, his sister still has pictures of her that he recently found.. i understand she was in his life for 6 years but he talks about her often, he says he loves me and he would never go back to her cause she cheated on him, but i can't help but to wonder if he loves her still..sometimes he acts depressed, and listens to depressing music about broken hearts, whats his deal? any idea??

Conceptually speaking, from a purely materialistic standpoint, "objective reality" seems true enough, that we should not question it; but in truth, our objective realities are merely virtual reality creations of the mind and are actually subjective reflections, or shadows, of an ostensible *absolute world* beyond our senses. The only verification of this absolute reality is via consensus with other minds. Hence, the objective reality becomes an assumption, which relies on the confirmations of other observers. That means that in accordance with the scientific method, our objective reality, cannot be proved to be an independent absolute - only inferred to be an absolute, as possibly playing a particular role, in accordance with the statistical status quo.

We then come to the reductive realization that our ostensible - concensible objectification, assumes there exists a separation between object and subject, - "perceived and perceiver", but in truth, there isn't any separation. The only reality that we can ever know is the reality of perception, which is the reality of mind. Of course you may stub your toe, pronouncing to yourself that "it is satisfactorily refuted thus!" But pain is also a perception of mind.

All objects of perception require a uniform logically consistent substrate OF perception, meaning that all objects of perception require a uniform[consciously aware] mental template of subjectification. Thus if the objective world stability is perceived as it truly is, then the stability of the subjective is the same as the stability of the objective. Ergo, the objective and subjective reality forms a duality, reflecting the two sides of the same coin called awareness or consciousness. Raw awareness and consciousness forms the most basic aspect of reality. Pure existence becomes pure thought/consciousness.

Alright this all started 3 weeks ago for some reason i just can't sleep, the only way i can is if i take meds like benadryl and stuff but when im off i cant sleep, ok more into detail i can't sleep until 6 or 7 am i cant sleep earlier then that and i dont know why but i just can't seem to sleep until those times and when i do i only get 5 or 7 hours so i usually wake up at 4pm do i have insomnia?

i have pains from underneath my breast to around my belly button inside my stomach my intestines feel queazy & like a burning feeling & crampy. it doesnt matter what i eat/drinkeven water/seltzer/ginger ale EVERYTHING makes me go to the bathroom QUICKLY WITH PAIN! i can go as many as 6 times in a day. i'm in my late 30's 165lbs considering this situation i have not had any problems health wise i have used pepto-bismal & it helps for a few hours but it is starting not to work anymore. at the moment i do not have health insurance that 's why i'm avoiding the doctor i'm ttyping this & as i am i can feel my stomach quivering like trembling other than the doctor can someone give me some serious advice i dont think it's IBS but i could be wrong thanks

I have had 3 Kirby salesman knock on my door this week alone! I can't stand door to door salesman either! If I want to buy something I will go buy it. I sure don't want some pest knocking on my door! The most annoying part is when you tell them you are not interested they still don't shut up! They ignore the no solicitation signs all over the neighborhood and on my door too. Who else is annoyed with these pests?

As I see it, companies are hiring illegal immigrants, rather than citizens, because they can pay them less than the minimum wage, not provide health care, etc. In short, it's cheaper, and it's off the books.

If we shut down companies that do this, wouldn't at least half the problem go away? And if we don't shut those companies down, aren't we just allowing the poorest of our citizens the opportunity to lose their jobs because there is a cheaper labor source? It seems to me that going after the hiring companies, rather than the individuals, would be one effective way to proceed.

Well-reasoned, non-hateful comments on both sides would be appreciated.
