I think they object to the idea of Jesus having done *anything* if it wasn't specifically spelled out in the Bible. There's a lot about His life we don't know about (you can count on one hand the amount of references to the first 30 years of His life, with fingers left over), and just because the Bible doesn't say whether something happened or not doen't mean the possibility doesn't exist.
If Jesus was married, would it really change anything? Would His message be any different?

And just exactly where did those 'children " of Mary and Joseph come from, and where did you come by your facts? I have read fictional stories where they had children, but this is a first for me!Are you sure of your facts?
And I see nothing wrong with Jesus having been married, and at the same time, carrying out His mission as the Son Of God ! Why is everyone so unyielding and narrowminded about anything to do with God, and or Jesus!
I think it takes a parent to understand 'being' a parent! So where does He get his experience? (God) Oh, that's right All powerful, and All knowing, the Creator, without having been Created! I still believe that God had to come from somewhere else1 But hey, that's just me!

Nothing to object to.
Jesus wasn't married.
Jesus always KNEW what He was on Earth for.
Jesus did not come to Earth to marry and have children.
HE came to love, teach, and be the redeeming perfect and acceptable sacrifice that would save all of Almighty God's children on Earth from an eternity in The Lake Of Fire.
Jesus knew his time on Earth with mankind was short.
He did not start his ministry until He was almost 30,
because for the most part, his earthly father Joseph
died and that left Mary, his earthly mother to raise, care for,
and support the 4 sons and 3 daughters of Mary and Joseph created together during their marriage.
Jesus being the oldest, was an honorable and obedient son and he worked and supported them all until Mary's children were old enough to care for themselves or were marriageable age.
His entire life was a testament to His compassion, understanding, patience, and love for people of all walks of life.

Probably something to do with his purity.
You asked: "How can Jesus understand me if he was never married or had children?"
"Imagine using as an authority in the matter of marriage the opinion of a celibate priest!"
— Joseph Lewis, (1889-1968)
"He no play-da-game. He no make-a-da rules!"
— Earl Butz, referring to the Pope's stricture against contraception

Jesus could still understand you because he is God and all-knowing. He didn't need to be married to understand about marriage. Besides, Jesus was obviously consumed by His mission to teach the people before His death, and hardly had time for a wife.

He was never married , He didn't come here for that , and to say that He doesn't know how we feel being married, He does , the bible tells us , that he knows everything about us , that He prays for us and Jesus had relationships on earth, he was betrayed and lied to, I believe very much so ,that He understands us.

He came as a Savior not Husband,
and if He from the cross ask John to care for his mom, would he have forgot about his children and wife?
that blows Cameron's theory out of the water.

People object to the idea of Jesus being married because it never said so in the Bible. Jesus was never wed in his 33 yrs on earth. He can understand you because he's known you before you were born. He knows your heart, your intentions, and your motives.

How can a brain surgeon understand his patient if he himself has never had his brain operated on ? How can anyone understand anything ? The best child care person I ever dealt with never had children, but quit in the end because of all the negative comments from mothers, comments made only because they were unsure of themselves as mothers. People understand by observation and practice.

Because people want to put Jesus on this pedistal and say he wasn't just a human being he was bigger then that! Even though Jesus suposively here to die for our sins and say that he is not a just a man! He loved like every other human being and you have no right to say that he didn't have a wife or children considering you weren't alive when he was alive!
