People have different point of views... we only adhere to what we believe in... Humans are getting more and more intelligent and this is the reason why buildings, bridges and computers are built. We continue to learn, explore and basically discover something to improve the society. I don’t really care if the world is going to end or not, but in some point, I would like to know how would people react to this. I understand everyone…your practical reasonings, your reasons based on science and theology…

whatever it is people... I just hope you know that there is only one truth and it’s the word of God. God doesn’t want people to lie, even before we stepped to school, that’s the simplest lesson thought by our parents. We all know the regulations were tight way back century, people value morality so much… so how would people give wrong interpretations about the bible? Why would they change the scriptures and over exaggerate the word of God? Its man versus God... don’t you think it’s too tough for a man to lie when in fact this could be bias to the God and to the society? I would not believe the bible … if it’s the man of the modern world gave meaning to it, but if it was the people from yesterday, where morals and virtues were of high standards.... I will of course believe them. It’s the intelligence of people today that scares me a lot and not “the end of the world”…

No, I don't believe the end is near.
The Bible is the symbolic account of the fall and restoration of the human soul to its divine origins.
Genesis is the symbolic testimony of humanity's fall from heaven and paradise lost.
Revelation is the *symbolic* testimony of humanity's restoration to heaven and paradise found.

I believe if you base any apocolyptic ordeal on a religious standpoint then the end is near everyday. I truly think that if you look back at recorded history, theories say that the end was always around the corner. I believe as a human society we base our own understandings of the body ( being that it does end at a certain age ) to the earth. This comparison will make anyone believe that the detioration of earth and society makes the end draw closer than it really is. The only thing that is certain, be it religion or science, is that if the sun rises tommorow and the air is still able to be drawn into your lungs, then we were given another day to say "The end is near".

It will not be the end until it is the end.
There is no Anti-Christ. The Anti-Christ is a representation of the Romans, who committed mass-genocide against Christians back in the day.
If Revelations were true, don't you think it would be...I don't know...modernized? Notice how terms in the Bible are all things that have all but ceased to be common place? Chariots...torches...scrolls...
The idea of Hell and the end of the world is only a system of control that "The" Church started to scare people into conformity. Religion is no different than politics.

Revelations 1:3
"Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near."
Matthew 24:29
"Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."

I do not believe that the world is going to end, but I do believe that we are living in the end times. This means that the world is going to change as we know it. First, comes the Antichrist and the 7 year tribulation period and then comes the return of Christ. He will destroy the Beast and He will set up His Kingdom on this Planet and bind Satan for 1000 years.

Every religion in human history has had a myth about "the end of the world." It's a device, quite effective I might add, to scare believers into toeing the party line.
Don't read too much into it. You'll sleep better.

Yes I believe that we are at the beginning of the end though there's a few more things to happen yet like the mark of the beast, Antichrist to reveal himself and Christians to be put to death, also have a read of Matthew 24 14 pretty scary stuff hay

I don't care about the end of the world. I do care that today probably my last day on earth. I will try to contribute as much as I can to my family and society before that happen.
Why do you care so much about the end of the world? It could be a month from now, but you could be dead tomorrow.
