redbeetle3, I respect that you don't believe in demons, just direct this to another question that is accepting those kinds of answers.

part 2) Do you think there are small and weak demons
for example one day someone is celebrating a birthday party or job promotion at a restaurant, eats their fill, but then afterwards, even past dessert, they decide to keep eating to a painful fullness, even when their conscience tells them to stop. So at this point invite Gluttony a little bit into their soul or body. The next weekend they continue to slip, until every time they have a meal they eat until they feel sick. Is this essentially cracking the 'spiritual' door for a demon to enter, this example focusing on Gluttony. Then taking this further do you think that many people are partially posessed by demons (gluttony, sloth, etc) but manage to control theyre lives otherwise. An example of this is an obese preacher, or a doctor who is always on vacation/ at work 1 day a week.

Yes, I think demons require some sort of invitation. Drug abuse, hypnotic trances, meditation, or activity in the occult. The Bible spoke of many sinners, and ones that went to hell, but only certain ones were demon possessed. So not all sin, or the worst sin bring them on.

I do believe in demons. They are works of Satan. There isnt a definite target of demons and devil possessions. Evil spirits are all around us. Some people, i would say, are more susceptible to them due to their lifestyle etc.

People who can work magik or who have innate psychic abilities stand out like a beacon to the big nasty spirits most people call demons. They target these people more, because they're easier to "see".

Of course , they do , they are on assignment sent by satan, the master of all demons and their target is us Christians , satan doesn't have to bother with anyone else , because they already belong to him.
I truly believe that they have a hell's most wanted list down there and I got to be on the front page , because they are on my heels 24/7.
