what do women of Australia like? me and a friend bet that we could do it with a person from each continent in one month (not counting Antarctica, and in Antarctica's place we put the Middle East). the church? The Bible states in 1 Timothy 3:15, "But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth."

I read this in 1 Corinthians 3:11, "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ."

Then I found this verse in Ephesians 2:20, "And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;"

Then I saw this in Luke 6:48, "He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock."

From these verses, it appears that Christ is the "foundation" or pillar and ground of truth. Since Jesus Christ is also called the "Word" (1 John 5:7; John 1:1), it appears that the word of God (Christ) is the pillar and ground of truth.

I am going to Las Vegas For Labor Day weekend, the first weekend of September. Is it still very hot? Are all the pools at the main casinos on the strip open? I will be staying at Ballys, anything new on the strip that I should not miss, I've been to Vegas 4 times in the past 5 years.

I have noticed that in my house when the weather starts to warm up I keep getting bitten, I have had this problem since I moved in nearly 2 years ago, I am very particular about cleaning my house and keeping everywhere clean so I thought maybe it was beause the tenants before me had an animal and possibly it was fleas so I have used a steam cleaner and done the whole house on quite a few occasions but it is still happening.

Does anyone have any ideas what it is and how I can resolve this problem please

Its intermittent non start, the ignition switch tested ok. I replaced fuse box 18 months ago, why does this keep hapenning to me? ps the dealer wont discount it even though they replaced it 18 months ago, as only had 1 year warranty.

I've never been a big fan of him, probably because I'm a Twins fan and he has killed us, especially when he was with the Sox. I believe so.

I've heard this phrase more times than I can count: "Blacks cannot be racist because race plus power equals racism...and blacks don't have the power".

Words and language are a passion of mine and, when I break down the word "racism", the oft-cited definition of the word doesn't seem to fly.

In its most primitive sense, Webster's dictionary describes the suffix (ism) of the word racism, as:

1 : a distinctive doctrine, cause, or theory
2 : an oppressive and especially discriminatory attitude or belief.

Given this basic definition, how is it possible that racism can be ascribed only to a particular race in a position of power?

It seems to me that any race or any person can be a racist. Frankly, a few of the people who I would consider to be the most racist people I know are black people who are not "in power", as it were.

Do you agree? Disagree? Perhaps I have a fundamental misunderstanding of the term "racism", if I do, please explain your reasoning.
