Being English myself, I have come to despair to the shite that is on television today. I love older shows, particular comedy, but now all programmes are either reality or cartoons. Occasionally, strokes of genius are present (The Office, Extras, New Tricks, Waking the dead, LIFE ON MARS), but the tripe that is on most nights makes me wonder why I bother with a television license at all. To other English, are you despairing like I, or are you satisfied with the programmes, and to everyone else, whats your opinion of your country's tevelsion programmes at the moment?

I am 52 and have had this recuring problem for years,i get traped wind and it causes me alot of pain,to put it bluntly i feel that i need a good burp.I have no problem with wind downstaires,its in my tummy and i cant release it.I thought someone may be able to help on 2 things,1,what causes it[i do eat alot of bread and a freind told me that could cause it and2,is there a quick fix to release the wind.
