The Capitol One credit card doesn't charge a fee for exchanging currency on purchases. Most cards charge around 2%-3%, but Capitol One doesn't at all. It's the only card that I know of that doesn't.

Keep in mind that credit cards (even this one) begin charging interest on cash advancements from the day you get the money. Unlike purchases there is no grace period.

Your bank ATM card is still the cheapest and easiest way to get cash in another country.
