The Greek text of the NT does NOT use the specific word homosexual. If you have a Bible that uses the specific word "homosexual," then you need to throw it out and get a new Bible, the translators have taken gross liberties.

The word being translated to "homosexual" in 1 Corithians 6, and 1 Timothy 1 is "arsenokoitai." This word does not appear in Greek writings prior to Paul's use of it in the NT. Paul made the word up!!

Nobody knows for sure what meaning Paul was trying to convey by it's use. If the meaning Paul wanted to convey was homosexual, then he would have used the word "paiderasste", which was the term used at the time for male homosexual. The word "paiderasste" does not appear in the Bible.

"Arsenokoitai" is made up of two parts: "arsen" means "man"; "koitai" means "beds." Literally translated "arsenokoitai" is a "male-bedder." It is interesting to note that during the time of Martin Luther, the word was universally translated as masturbators untill the 20th century.

39.4 weeks pregnant. I know that my doc wants me to go to the hospital when the contractions are 5 minutes apart....but I'm having constant cramping and back pain (and have had it for the past several hours) I'm unable to sleep it hurts so bad. Should I go to the hospital? I can't feel much for rythmic contractions...but it is so painful..I think I might not notice.

ok, so today i ended up walking way more than i thought and spent the day wearing my flip flops. i ended up with 2 blisters in between my big toe and the smaller one next to it. one already popped and i wrapped it up with tissue and caution tape (my dad doesn't own any 1st aid, no band-aids etc). can anyone help me please. I am a linguistics student, and for fun I just read 'Communication with Extraterrestrial Intelligence' which was edited by Carl Sagan. I liked how it approached the hypothetical subject with a scientific rigor, but was really fascinated by the references to this possible bridge language "LINCOS" that was mentioned a few times, but never fully explained.

I would really be interested in seeing how this language works, or reading any books about it that could be recommended.

My g/f of 5 years has been displaying these signs, tell me if she is cheating or what you think.. I am suspcious of her cheating on me with my old enemy, who knows we are together

1. Hides and deletes text messages and calls
2. VERY protective of her phone
3. Still mentions facts about this one guy as if she's talking to him. Yet she says, "He told me a while ago"
4. Admits sometimes, "I had sex with him 3 times in a row..." with a smile and then says she's kidding.
5. Her messages and times between sent and received don't add up. She's deleting a few them, yet she says she's not hiding anything.
6. Been going out A LOT while Im on night work. Says she is with her friend, but ALWAYS conveniently leaving when I call.
7. Always going to the bathroom with her phone
8. Physically fighting me when I see her phone "light up" She will wrestle and punch me so I don't get it
