I believe in mythological creatures and believe that certain people can see some of these beings. Does anyone else agree and know of a place where they can be seen? Or know of a way to gain this sort of vision?

Yes, fairies are real! I've had many encounters of them such as a few days after May day (May 1st, a good time to attract fairies), I was inside my house and suddenly I had this intense feeling that I should look through the window to see the night sky. I turned around (as I was facing the other direction), and I looked into the pitch-black and saw three neon green orbs. I knew they were the fairies. Another rainy day, I a very tiny one (its orb was less than a cm.) that was pure white. White orb/light, white flowing dress, white hair (but she was still young), and bright blueish-white eyes. I was a believer in fairies even before I had sightings of them, though, so I think you have to believe in order for them to come to you. It's not always best to tell peopole when you meet the Fae, but I only spotted them, I've never actually talked to one. If you do talk to fairy, don't tell anyone because the fairy's words are sacred and precious. Here are some tips on ecountering them:
-leave them a treat such as small cakes, a drop of honey on a bit of cracker, or a bowl of warm milk mixed with honey and some sugar.
-make them a house as the foot of a tree, put in small furniture made of tree bark, rocks, pinecones, or anything else from Nature.
-Leave a gift such as non-toxic glitter, a pretty ribbon, marble, or a quartz crystal point.
-The Fae are attracted to children and music. Turn on some fluttery-sounding music or play your own instrument (flutes or recorders are best, but they may also like an acoustic guitar or historic instrument, the lyre).
-Fairies love and care for all plants, flowers, and herbs, so plant some. Every tree or plant or flower or herb has a nature spirit within it. Keep the nature spirits and flower fairies happy by keeping the plants watered and strong.
It is said that the seventh son of the seventh son or the seventh daughter of the seventh daughter naturally has fairie-sight. Same for those born with red hair. If you follow neither of those, you can search for a stone or shell with a naturally carved hole in it. If you look through this hole, it is said you will see the Fae. Some people think that looking through any naturally-shaped circle will have the same effect. I found more info online:
"On midsummer's eve, go into the garden just after dawn when the dew is still wet and set out a sugar cube. Fairies love sugar and other sweets, and will come to dance in the buttercups. You must sit quietly and look past where the fairies come out. Traditionally, midsummer's eve is the only time that fairies can (or choose to) speak the human language, so if you want to talk to them, this time of the year is your best bet.
Any evening at dusk you may go into your garden and weed. The fairies like to live in the bottom of the garden where one does not typically weed, so turn slightly away from them. Garden fairies will come out to watch you and if you are quick you will see them.
Look through the eyes of a cat who is staring quietly into the long grass. Creep up and look through their ears and you'll see what they see. It’s easy to learn how to see faeries, you only need patience, sugar, persistence, and respect".
It is said that a circle of mushrooms in your yard or anywhere in Nature, is a fairy-circle, the circle that they danced in last night. Never step in or ruin a fairy circle; the fairies would NOT be happy!
This is from another website: "So I'll show you how to see fairies. You must go into the forest as night and stay still, no moving. If you wait a while, you many hear tiny voices and see little sparkles. Look closer and you will see that those sparkles are fairies."
The thing is, even if for some reason, you can't see them, you can still sense them. Sit down somewhere in Nature, and open up your senses. Listen, what do you hear? The breeze, birds chirping, maybe even the tinkling sounds of fairy music! What do you smell? Fresh pine, a whiff of flowers? A small beautiful scent may be a present from the Fae. What do you see in your mind's eye? Look out of the corner of your eye. Did you spot movement? If so, the fairies are around! If you need more information try doing a search on the Web, you'll find something. Also, try and read Ted Andrew's book on Nature Spirits and the Fairies, or "Faeries" by Brian Froud. There are many more books on fairies, you only need to find them. Good luck with the Fae, *Tiger-lily Rain*

Contacting Fairies
Fairies are little beings that live on the Astral Plane. They can come over, between planes, but it is much easier to contact them through the Astral Plane.

Meditation:
Meditation is one way to contact the fairies. To do this, you should go to a place where you can relax with out any disturbance. Take the phone off the hook and, if necessary, lock the door.

Get into a comfortable position, preferably sitting, because, when you lay down, you may fall asleep.

Close your eyes and breath in and out slowly. Imagine your body relaxing, starting at your toes and going to your head. Spend extra time on your back, arms, and neck, as they build up a lot of tension. You could picture yourself walking down stairs, each step relaxing you.

Once you're relaxed, picture yourself in a meadow or garden. Forests and rivers are also fine. Ask for the fairies to show themselves and tell them that you mean no harm and only want to learn and talk. This may take time. Once the fairies trust you, they'll come out.

Always be careful when contacting fairies and carry a charm of protection with you. You don't want to bump into a violent fairy when you have nothing to protect you. Not all fairies are the cute little pixies we picture flitting around.

While meditating, picture the garden or valley as best you can. See and smell everything around you. Walk around and try to find the fairy trail, the dark green line running through the grass. Once you find this, follow it, in any direction. Along the way, look about you. Think that you would like to contact the kind fairies and tell them that you are not meaning any harm and are only here for some contact.

Once you find a place which you think is fine, sit down on a rock or stump, and talk to the fairies. Show them that you have only good intentions and ask only for the good fairies. They should come, if they believe you.

A Spell for Summoning the Fairies

Sit where the cat sits. Cross your toes.
Close your eyes. And smell a rose.
Then say under your breath:
"I believe in fairies, sure as death."
Gadflykins! Gladtrypins!
Gutterpuss and Cass!
Come to me fairily
Each lad and lass!

Many people from many different cultures believe in fairies. Some think that they are troublesome little creatures that you must be careful not to cross. Milk and honey is one way to get on their good side. I suggest studying the topic. One thing about fairies that many people dont know is that they were not always described as so small.

No, fairies aren't real. What kind of human-creature can fly and has magic powers? When I was little I believed in the tooth fairy. Once I got $20 from "the tooth fairy" but then later I thought to myself, how can fairies be real? Little magic human-creatures who take your teeth and poof up money for you? If fairies were real, they can just poof up money for all the homeless an starving people in the world, and stop world hunger. It's similar to Santa Claus. How can Santa Claus be real, reindeer that fly? How can he deliver presents to all the kids in one night? And if Santa was real, all the homeless kids could visit Santa at the mall and ask for lots of money and a home. Then there would be no homeless and starving families. P.S. Have you ever actually seen a fairy before? Or Santa Claus? They're absolutely fake.

I would have to say yes they must be. I had old gladioli in my garden for a a few years(All white) I wished one afternoon that I could have a different coloured one when it opens up, (it was a big one about to appear). The next morning I got up to find a huge apricot one and I have never had any other colour ever before. Garden fairies must of heard my wish . lol I was happy and a little shocked.

Yes fairiess are real. Over my friends house there are tiny blue fairies. I brought an other friend to tell me if she saw anything. She saw them too. I found that you know you have them if you have any fairie rings(toadstools in a circle). But if you have fairies remember to feed them. They like honey.
