don't pop the other blister-the fluid inside of it is sterile to your body and if you pop it-you run the risk of getting an infection. if it pops on it's own then that's ok-you'll just need to treat it.

your dad needs to take you to the store to pick up bandaids and some neosporin (or similar antibiotic ointment).

-wash the blisters well with warm water and soap
-apply a thin layer of neosporin over the blister
-cover with a bandaid
-try to keep as clean and dry as possible-no more flip flops until fully healed
-change the bandaid at least twice a day or if it gets dirty/wet

watch for signs of infection-if you get any of these, make an appt to see your dr for antibiotics (and yes blisters can get infected-just happened to my daughter last week)

-increased redness or swelling to blister site or surrounding area
-blister in more tender,painful,or hot to touch
-the blister begins to drain liquid that is green or yellowish-brown in color

hope you feel better soon!!

Dont pop blister! Dont peel off the skin on the one that is popped. Clean with antiseptic and cover. Keep them clean and change dressing everyday. Tissues and caution tape is fine to use in a pinch. but go get some sterile wound dressing from your chemist.

Hi Tegan. Don't pop any blisters. The fluid of the blister is full of cells that fight infection. The longer you have the blister the less likeley you will have an infected sore. Try to keep your toes clean and dry. All the best.

No popping! Tell Dad you need bandaids and antibiotic ointment. Cover both blister sites.
{ The blister fluid belongs in your skin, it just got shoved out of where it belongs by the friction. }
Wear shoes and socks for a day or two, then wear non- thong sandals until healed.

don't pop the other one. blisters have its own way of healing itself. but sometimes they do pop on there own, and that's okay. you should clean around it, if there is anything on the open part clean it good with warm salty-water. it may burn a little but salty water helps things heal faster and better. you can put some antibiotic ointment on it. with out a band-aid. but if your going out you may want a band-aid. the air helps it heal faster too. because if you keep a band aid on a open wound then it stays Moise and takes longer to heal.
