Parents: Would you let your 13 year old have and energy drink?

Teens: Would your parents let you drink an energy drink at 13?


So, here's the story, we were at the store and I wanted an energy drink since I've never had one before. So I got one and brought it back to the cart, and my mom put it back on the shelf and said no. So then I took it and put it on the belt when we were checking out and she bought it, but told me I couldn't have it. Well we got into the car and I took it, but she said I couldn't have it because "It's not good for kids". Well, I'm drinking it now, but despite this story, would you let your thirteen year old drink an energy drink?

Ok, don't laugh at me, please...I purchased the car from a used dealership and never thought to ask them to show me before I drove it off the lot. There is no volume button, knob anywhere on the player itself or the screen. I didn't know if maybe I had to turn it to a certain station....Wow, I feel so silly asking this. Advice anyone? It's true! When discussing origin theories, you can leave out examples of changes within a species because that is evident to everyone. What you should try to show is any sort of new information in the DNA of a species. Not just a beneficial change. It has to come about by additional information in DNA and can't come from a LOSS of genetic information.

I just read about the Sheriff in Florida that has some unusual techniques for catching illegals on construction sites. I have no problem sharing citizenship with people of any nationality, but I truly resent illegals coming here, taking jobs from Americans, and allowing business owners to pocket outrageous profits because they do not pay full wages, insurance, social security, or workers comp on illegals. I am outraged by organizations like the ACLU and organizations working to help illegals here in the USA to try and get around laws already on the books with the justification of "they are doing jobs Americans won't do". Round these illegals up, fingerprint or chip them, and send them back the first time with a warning that if they come back, they will be put in a work camp like Joe Arpaio has for criminals in Phoenix. Let them go through the ligitmate process of immigration and keep Americans working. We might pay a little more for fruit and vegetables but mostly it cuts profits!

All their attitudes are straight out of newspapers,magazines,and television. They all take the same exact view of everything as the media,it never fails. You don't have to ask an atheist his/her opinion on anything; if you already know the media spin or "take" you already know what atheists "think". Simply put:whatever the media thinks. Period. I've never known an exception. How can you people exist like that? Never having an independent thought?
