I am a Christian. My favorite pagan holiday is Christmas. Most Christians don't know that the origin of Christmas is pagan and I'll probably get lots of thumbs down (the button is located to your right), but the truth is not always easy to tolerate. Christ was born in September, not December anyway.

I am also troubled by the way we celebrate Easter. Since when did rabbits lay eggs and what the heck does that have to do with the resurrection? It's no wonder the world is confused about our beliefs.

Samhain of course (known to most of you as Halloween). It's the ONLY day of the year where it's totally accdeptable to BE a Witch. In fact MY house tends to attract the LARGEST crowd, just because it IS a true Witches house. And thde litle trick-or-treaters love it too because they each get a little REAL Jack-O-Lantern. I spend to previous two weeks carving tiny pumpkins and they just LOVE it when I give them out. And of COURSE the grownups just love the adult party, the HUGE bonfire with John Barleycorn burining in effigy and the Mead flows like water.

April Fools Day!

Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Samhain and the summer solstice are tied for me. Samhain because... well, because it rocks and the solstice because it's often on my birthday!

I would have to say Lammas/Lughnasadh, the first of the three harvest festivals.
