No I don't as people on the outside can be just the opposite on the inside. Lacking appearances on the outside doesn't mean that that person isn't over flowing with good qualities on the inside. People that appear to not be lacking on the outside with an initial glance can be sorely lacking on the inside. It takes time to know a person and see them for what they really are. Remember what you see is not what you may get and vice versa. You need to get to know a person. Beauty is in the eyes on the beholder, only from an outward glance, would never let you know the real beauty of their insides. Oh, you can see lack of beauty or beauty from a glance but it takes getting to know someone to really see them as the whole person. What people lack in one area they may possess an abundance in another area.

I think that depends upon what the person is sorely lacking. If they are lacking clothing well then yeah, you'll notice. If it is something emotional that the person is lacking you most likely won't see it in a single glance. In general, I'm going to say no.

You'll never know what I am sorely lacking at a single glance. I think it depends on the person. Some are easy to read, others not so easy.

Depends on what they are lacking....
I can see when people are lacking hygiene or etiquette; however, I can't tell if they are rich/poor or lonely at a single glance.

i do think that sometimes it is easier to see certain things when you are looking into certain situations, and emotions are not involved. But I also think snap judgments can be dangerous, and should not be set in set in stone.
