My bf & I have been together for abt 4 yrs now,met at cllg and have been best of friends,he comes from the same country as I do (pakistan) but from a diff. area/city.About 2 yrs ago his mom & sis talked to my mom for our marriage,my mom said no in a wishy washy way excusing that he was still in grad school and wasnt working and so on for me as well. Now he has a job and everything. How do I tell my parents that I want them to consider him again? They didnt event talk to him the first time!! I thought they needed time but they didnt even ask me about him again, unfortunately the proposals that they talk to me abt always start off by facts such as the guy is working in xyz company making $$$...i dont care about how much a guy is making as I am very much self reliant.This summer my bf is going back to his family for a few months, his family might introduce future prospects to him and if nothing is done on my end, he might be engaged to someone else....

I don't often use this word but I HATE them they are nothing but scrounging, money grabbing, publicity seeking, celeb wannabes who neglect their children for the sake of a F'ing taco!!!!!!!!!!!!! Emotionless robots who only care for money rather than their own childrens well-being. Lucky them, a visit to the pope, a private jet, stacks of cash, their own day - what next - I hope they fall of the face of the planet!!!!!!!!

Okay I know I'll get stick for this - but you know what - I really don't care, stuff them, they are the lowest of the low...........that poor child is god knows where because of them, and who knows what sick things may have happened to her?! Her parents cannot even admit they are at fault, pathetic!!!!!!!!!

You read that right. This person, honestly believes, that the Science of Evolution (meaning Biology, Chemistry, Geology ect) are all "tools of the devil".
Now, when faced with that kind of ignorance, how does reality and Science stand a chance?
The education system really let these people down did'nt it?

I don't trust people easily and make friends. Because of this, wherever i go, i upset people, especially girls, because they wish to talk and make friends but i don't make friends easily because my experiences tell me that noone appreciates me for what i am - a honest, no-hurt-nobody and helpful person - people think of it as a weakness. I do help strangers, and speak to people - i'm not anti social, but i cannot make friends unless they come to me and accept me for what i am. I used to have the max. no of friends when i was small. Now i try to avoid all my friends or i hardly have any true ones.

I've got a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo TSI and last week it started overheating and leaking coolant. Turns out it was the water pump, so I had that replaced. The mechanic who replaced it is a relative of mine, so he just fixed it in my driveway without the aid of any computerized testers or anything (and without charging me $300 dollars for labor!!!). What are the possible reasons for the check engine light to come on after this and should I be driving it around? Thanks!!!

Hi folks,
Do you guys recommend any places for getting invitations for a bridal shower that would look decent and not so overpricy?
I checked out Papyrus the other day and I picked up a couple of boxes of the imprintable pack. So basically its colored with a design but no printing on it. The cards I picked up cost $20 a box and Paprus charges $20 for as a print set up fee and then $1 an invite. Is that ok or expensive? Any other suggestions? Can I get them printed somewhere else or any other places where I can get invitations..I would rather get one with a background I like and then print our own custom words on it..

What do you do when your english teacher asks you to write a composition? Ask help on Yahoo!Answers of course!! Okay so here's my story: In one hour I need to leave for the biggest show I'll ever go to but I need to hand in my homework by tomorrow and when I come back It'll be too late to write anything as I need to wake up at 5 30 tomorrow. I didn't have time to do it earlier beacuse I had to stay back in school as my maths teacher wants me to study for a national maths competition which is very important. Here's the story: A young man on the beach comes upon a bottle. There is a message inside. The young man picks up the bottle, reads the message - and does something that changes his whole life! Write a composition called "The Message in the Bottle". When you write about the message, reproduce its exact words.
Please HELP!!! I'm desperate and as you can see i'm a goody goody and I promise I'll never again cheat in my life after this time!!

I bottle fed my two children, but am thinking about expressing milk for my baby who is due in October as I'm a little more relaxed about this pregnancy. However, I really don't want to breast feed as I don't feel able to do this in front of people like my dad for example!!
Has anyone here ever expressed milk to feed their child and if they have - was it a good experience or was it bad?
