How come my shower drain smells shortly after turning water on? It is an 'off' smell kind of like rotten eggs.

It happens on the other two nearby drains at times but water doesn't pass through them as often (laundry floor type drains).

I thought maybe there's some kind of residue that won't go down the drain or something?

We're not connected to a well, and its been like this since we bought the house. We've tried Drano but, from memory, that only fixed it for a while if at all...

Ok, you are on the final round of a popular TV game show.
The host stands in front of three doors.
Behind one is a brand-new, luxury estate car, behind the other two are b00by prizes (dead mackerel).

[1]_____[2]_____[3]

Now, he asks you to pick a door

[1]_____[2]_____[3]
/\

He then opens one of the others to reveal; = a mackerel.

[1]_____[@<]_____[3]
/\

Now do you switch or stay with your choice? Or does it matter?
(You have no way of finding out and you carn't ask etc.)

First correct answer with explanation gets the points.

Star and I might do some more :).

OK..here is a question, just so that I can understand it.

lets say i have a 100 mm lens. As far as I understand things, if I attached this lens to say a canon rebel xti camera which has a sensor smaller than the size of a 35mm camera, it would produce a much different result if I place the same lens on say a canon 5d full size 35mm size equivalent sensor.

So if the smaller chip in the rebel xta results in a 1.6 (converstion, as I have read)

my 100 mm lens now becomes a 160mm on the rebel xti,

BUT wouls still act as a 100 mm on the full sized chip in the
canon 5d??

so my lens focal lenght depends on the size of the sensor???

I have a 13 year old border collie and by accident 3 weeks ago I bought and gave him puppy food. However I found that he seems to have a lot more energy now and he seems happier.
He is also on a form of 'Beta-Blockers' because he is quite old and has a heart murmur.

Is it safe for me to continue to give him puppy food?
