These three types of percent problems can be solved using the A= PB formula. Here is the needed info to assist in solving the problems:

Question: What is P percent of B?
Given: P and B
Percent Formula: Solve for A

Question: A is Ppercent of what?
Given: A and P
% formula: Solve for B

Question: A is what percent of B?
Given: A and B
% formula: Solve for P

39. 3 is 60% of what?
41. 24% of what # is 40.8?
43. 3 is what % of 15?
45. What % of 2.5 is 0.3?

If you could please explain how you got your answer it would help. I just do not understand how to do these kinds of problems. I want to be able to understand it and show the work. Thanks so much anyone who helps. Best response of course gets 10 points! =) Thanks again.

My goal is to go to Med. school. I finished my freshman year in college with 100 hours of volunteer work. My duty was to direct cars where to go in a parking lot in Los Angeles. After the car paid, I was supposed to direct them where to park, since space was limited.

Next im going to volunteer at a hospital. Is this too much volunteering or is it just right? Not that I dont enjoy helping people, its just that I dont want the people who review my application to think that someone with hundreds of hours of volunteer work must be crazy or something like that, but is this ok? Or what would you advice me to do next after volunteer work at the hospital?

Norton anti-virus detected that i have a trojan horse virus, and couldn't delete it!!!!
i downloaded spyware doctor, and it deleted it.. the problem is, it keeps on coming back!!!

Is it appropriate to send flowers to a coworker if she recommended you for your job and you are quitting only after a month? I worked with her somewhere else and when I found out the place she's working at was hiring, I applied and she spoke highly of me to the Boss and to the people at HR which resulted in me getting the job. But I've accepted a better job offer elsewhere and I feel bad that I'm leaving after a short time,but I'm very appreciative that she got me the job.

So do you think flowers are ok? If so, what kind of flowers?

Considering the amount of money Exxon-Mobile dumps into creating the perception of scientific dispute about man-made global warming, such as

JunkScience.com, where peer-reviewed papers are deemed "junk science" and corporate-sponsored studies are deemed "sound science".

The Oregon Petition which was circulated to tens of thousands of people with any degree, along with a "review" of climate science written by a Christian fundamentalist with no climate science background, and signed by 17,000 people based on that "review", most signees having no background in climate science. Yet it is cited as a petition signed by 17,000 climate scientists.

People like Rush Limbaugh who flunked out of college and has no science background whatsoever and yet has a rapt audience who treat his opinions as fact.

All the BS on the internet claiming that soda pop, water vapor, solar variations, volcanoes, etc. are the primary cause.

When people want to believe this misinformation, how do you combat it?

When I look back on my marriage, I was never able to adjust to my mother-in-law. I wonder if this relationship is ever smooth.

I remember one incident. We had gone to my my In-laws to discuss planning my daughter's 9th birthday party. My ex-husband was talking to his father.

I was sitting quietly. My mother-in-law came up to me and said "Can you talk, maam?" Then, my ex-husband joined in and said this is the problem with me - I never communicate.

They ganged up on me and so I got upset and left their apartment. I wanted to take my daughter with me and my mother-in-law said "No, she is going to stay here."

My father-in-law was nice and he came downstairs from their apartment with me and showed me the Serenity Prayer which was on the wall.

I wonder what I could have done to make the relationship smoother.

Now, my mother-in-law wants me to get back together with her son. I think that she is worried about his life and wants to see it stabilized.

I have outgrown my current pants and am shopping for new ones on line. I like to wear my pants for my 60 plus inch waist and over 375 pounds at the level of my belly button. I like to wear them this way because it is more comfortable and looks better. It also helps show off how large I am. I don't like the way some men wear their pants and belts under their stomach and i think it makes them look more sloppy but I do respect their choice. Let me know which way you think is best.

Is this weird? I'm over 21, under 25... so I'm still fairly young, but most people I know have settled with a GF. Just with a mobile number, googled it (some times appears if its a 'scam number') - but it isnt.
Didnt t recognise the number, have tried to search it and nothing comes up.
Called and it was voicemail (and a woman) - left a message to call if they needed to speak to me
No callback - but keep getting the email still
have had previous problems with my ex calling me so dont want to ID my call.
Once or twice maybe a mistake - this is happening loads.
Have ignored it until - how does this anonymous mail get your email address? How can I stop it - its freaking me out.
