We are going to deep fry a turkey tomorrow - using one of those fryers with the propane tank out in the driveway. I bought an injectable marinade that is garlic & herb flavored, but what else do I need to do to season it? How much oil & for how long do we fry? It's a 13 - 14 lbs........Any suggestions appreciated - suggest some sides, too please

My parents are divorced and my mom has been dating this guy for 2 years now. But only recently did it start to get really serious. She is spending every waking moment with him and is always asking him to come over and is always asking me to go over to his house for a barbecue and sleep over. I dont feel comfortable with this because I feel like she's trying to force him in. I feel like she's trying to replace my dad and turn her boyfriend into a father figure for me. He's even coming on the family vacation! i tell her all the time i dont want to sleep over and i always make plans to hang out with friends instead. But now shes getting aggravated with me because she thinks that i'm acting stupid by not wanting to go over like every day (like she does) and sleep over. It's not him whos the problem. he's a nice guy, its just the thing is, i already have a dad and i love him very much. What should i do? Because my mom is really getting mad at me.

sadly, I just turned 17 and have never used a tampon. I am embarassed. I have no clue how to insert them or anything. several times did so many tests its not pink eye which when i went to my walk in clinic on the weekend they said it was and gave me the prescription, that didnt help so i saw my general practiciouner and he said thats no pink eye why did they prescribe those meds.

Basically he said that in my R.E.M. stages of sleep that my eyes may not be shutting all the way. he did a test where he stuck these paper things on my eye ball and measured the amount of water my eyes produce and yes my left eye is doesnt produce as much so there for it dries out and i need to go to sleep with this clear crap in my eye every night. has this happend to anyone and will it go away?

The reason I think its a hairball is because I have another dog thats American Eskimo that sheds a lot.They play constantly and I have on many a occasion taken hair out of my dogs mouth while they were playing.I am on disability and have limited income, theres no one that has more love for their pets or treat their pets as well as I do mine . If I had the hundreds of dollars to do the tests I would but since I dont and I have good reason to believe its a hairball why not at least try to treat that first to see especially since its my only option since I cant afford the tests.
