Would you or would you not END CORPORATE WELFARE?
Do You Want Lower Taxes? The US is the third lowest taxed country of the industrialized world. BUT, what If I told you that your taxes could be lowered, our schools, roads, bridges, first responders, emts, police, and fire departments could all receive more funding and in addition to all of that we could finance research and development for renewable, clean energy sources and break our dependence on oil, coal and nuclear power just by ending Corporate Subsidies(also known as corporate "welfare")? NOWHERE in the US Constitution is the House of Representatives or the Senate Granted the authority to use tax payer funds to subsidize business or guarantee loans. Why are these corporate GIANTS being supported on the backs of the hard-working, tax-paying Americans?

Both Depp's & Wilder's versions.

Who do you prefer? (age may make no difference here. I know a 9 year old who likes the 70s version better)

& the character himself-- does he like kids or hate em?

I do - from evolution, space exploration, global warming to stem cell research . . . Do you think we should bundle the issues under an appropriate banner like "The War on Science" as conservative bundled religous issues under "The War on Christmas?"

"Meanwhile, a group of Pakistani Islamic retards say they have awarded their highest honour to Saudi-born al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden in reaction to Britain's knighthood for Salman Rushdie."
One man is an educated author, the other is a mass murderer.
Imagine if the Queen had given Sir Salman a Knighthood because Osama was awarded a Donkey! What fools.

On watching Shoaib Akhtar bowl I thought that when I was playing cricket the umpire would have not hesitation in throwing him out of the game as a throw bowler. Why he is allowed to bowl which clearly looks like throw bowling?

Ok these details are long. But bear with me? =D

I got him yesterday and we've tried giving him a little meat shredded to an almost puree with lots of water mixed in it. He doesn't eat it.
He also happens to quite weak. He was the smallest of the litter.

Oh another thing, I already have a white tom cat and he has always had the tendency to bite and can be violent when crossed. Is he a threat to the kitten? They happen to be brothers as they come from the same mother.
Is there no genetic bond that will make them love each other...? eh? =D

I would just like someone elses opinion on this matter................

My bf/husband whatever you want to call him insists I do not do anything. I stay at home with our daughter who is 19 months old. I also babysit a 3 and a 8 year old, which I get paid to do. So contributing financially is out of the question. I make enough to pay all the utilities, and for some other extras. I don't get to keep any of what I earn. I cook, clean, run errands, make his phone calls, do his invoices, take care of all maintenance around the house, anything that needs to be done in or around the home I DO. I have dinner cooked and ready when he arrives home, I have to remember where all his things are on top of trying to remember everything else. He doesn't help out with our daughter when he gets home, so I can do something for myself. I haven't had a hot meal in over a year. I am just tired of hearing I don't do anything. How do you deal with this???

Ok, so every family has a dish that they just love or cant go to a party without making. My families is a reciepe thats been passed down, it called "Rainbow Beans". Its delicious! It has all different kinds of beans (lima, butter, pork, kidney, ect) with vinegar, mustard, garlic powder, onion, and bacon. I would never eat these beans by themselves but this dish is awesome! What's you families favorite dish?

My parents did that to me a few yrs ago. They kicked me out b/c I didn't have a good job at the time(despite jobsearching, it took a while to find a job after college & I was working retail in the meantime...trust me, NOT my choice!) & they assumed they worst. I wrote about this before & a lot of people suggested that it was "tough love" & taught me important lessons. Sometimes it might be true, but for my scenario I'd disagree.

How can I get ahead in life, or obtain a decent job, when I already had a lot of odds stacked against me at that time in my life?
- when they kicked me out, I was homeless & had no true friends to stay with, so I was stuck living on the streets
- I had no car to sleep in or drive to places; I also lived in the country, where mass transit is inaccessible
- I was already having a hard time finding a job due to the classic lack-of-experience Catch 22
- I had no cell phone, therefore no way for employers to contact me for interviews or to verify my existence

Most of the worlds Oceans have not been explored. Deep sea exploration discoveres new species on almost every dive.
Parts of the Amason rain forest still have not been visited by man and new species are discovered there all the time, albeit mostly insect life.
Should we not know our own Planet properly first.

We have rights as Americans against searches.

Many stores now are checking OUR property as we leave. Once it's paid for it's ours. Period.

It's not mandatory, and I've refused several times just to be slightly chased with a "SIR SIR!!!" but I ignore and go to my car.

I honestly think people are giving up freedom and giving into corporate law.

I'd rather pay a bit more than to per se, "give up my rights".

It's an outrage to me.... Even though it's something so small... I think of the American men who died and had families weep and mourn over them in the American Revolution to give us these rights just to have stores think they can take them away just because something is not in a bag.

I'm very pissed off and I'm about to start confronting managers.

I have a 1978 KZ650C with the dual front discs. The previous owner put a Honda(?) master cylinder on it made for a single front disc. As a result, the front brakes are very soft. I have found several used master cylinders for dual front discs out there (mostly Harley) and I am wondering if they will work with this bike. Thanks
