I want to know if anyone has modeled this scenario. And please educate me if I have some fundamental misunderstandings about any of this. But less just say that tomorrow, all cars suddenly were converted to hydrogen powered cars emitting nothing but water as exhaust. What would the climatological effects be of introducing all that water into the atmosphere? My gut tells me that there would be fairly significant effects related to weather, water levels, ozone, whatever.

I have asked this question before and been called a left wing, environmentalist cook. I have no political agenda in asking this. I just want a thoughtful answer and some references to facts and data related to this topic.

I NEVER game on my machine so thats not an issue, but i do watch lots of movies and do a lot with photos on my computer so a good graphics card will help me do what i want to do.
Is the nVidia Geforce 7300LE or ATI Radeon X1300 Pro a better card for me?

I want a ferret so bad i have seen them before and i absouloutly LOVE THEM!!!!!! i asked my parents but they said no because they stink i heard something about descenting ferrets whats that like and also i have a cat i am willing to save my allowance and get rid of my cat for it but i just cant get them to even think about it plz help.

Why are most politicains two faced? i am watching an edition of Question time and the way they say they opposed the war in Iraq as if they did, i remember most politicians backing it and now they say they didnt and use some mumbo jumbo terminology to try and convince us. What we need is someone who tells us the truth - a prime minister who acts responsibly and puts his hands up when he is wrong - unlike our CURRENT one. What will Brown be like?

The problem reads:

With one alarm clock, we have 0.975 probability of being awakened. What is the probability of being awakened if we are using two such alarm clocks?


I believe the solution is P (two alarm clocks)=(0.975)^2, or 0.951. I just got worried because 0.951 is lower than 0.975, and shouldn't ur chance of waking up increase if you use two alarm clocks more than one?

I have a splitter on my phone jack, 1 for the phone and 1 for the DSL modem. I have never had a problem using my phone until recently. Now, my phone will ring, but when I answer it.........I hear nothing! I have no dial tone at all, but it will ring when someone calls me.
What could this be?

I'm getting a Dell XPS 410 with 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM. i want to upgrade to the ATI Radeon X1300 Pro from the nVidia GeForce 7300LE and the Soundblaster X-Fi Xtreme music card from the integrated 7.1 audio. will these upgrades slow my performance or help it? right now, you are broke. no money. it's Christmas morning. and you really need money to pay your rent or else your landlord will kick you out. as you're walking through the streets looking for work, a check for $1,000 falls out of the pocket of the man walking in front of you. to your right, there is a homeless family with a baby who's starving when it's Christmas morning.

So, what do you do? Should you keep the check for yourself? Give it to the homeless family? or return it back to the man? and why?
