First off, no she's not a lesbian. She was married to Eddie, divorced him, and he was later killed. She's had some failed romances with other guys.
What Sara meant was that Catherine was more flirty with someone she was supposed to be professional with.

No she's not. She was married and has a daughter Lindsay. Catherine was a stripper before she was a CSI. When Sara says this she just means that she will use her sexuality to get stuff from suspects.

I don't know what Sarah's comment was meant to portray but I do not believe the character of Catherine is lesbain. She has an ex-husband, a child and has had heterosexual relationships.
