Our system is set up sooooo wrong!!!

How many U.S. soldiers need to risk their lives/and/or die to provide stock growth for U.S. citizens to secure their retirement?

One way or another nearly every publicly traded stock has an interest in the companies that make their money off of the U.S. Militarized Industrial Complex!!!

It's disgusting and takes advantage of our brave men and women in uniform!!!

According to some intense research.. it validates that black people are the most ancient and they lived on Earth thousands of years before any other race did. It also states that every race somehow originated from blacks.
Is there a reason for this perhaps?

My husband and I just got married and will live with his mom for a while (6 months up to a year) until we get our own place. Several of my friends who I talked to about it say it is a stupid idea, it will be awfull, etc. What do you think? If you have ever lived with your mother-in-law, could you tell me whether it was a good, ok, or bad experience?
I mean, his mom is nice, she seems to like me and I do not anticipate many problems; of course, some compromises will have to be made, but everything will be just temporary. She is a working person, invoved in charity after work, so barely at home. My hubby and I work too, so won't get onto each others nerves too much. Her place has four bedrooms, plenty of space. What do you think?

How can you place someone with dreams and aspirations under a socialist government? I tell you that it will never work.

God has placed it inside of every being the potential to break barriers, smash glass ceilings and accomplish great things when man say it is impossible. You will always find the one person or persons that will stand out in a crowd, spread his wings and soar high above his peers.
It is not because the his peers were wronged but because he applied himself more aggressively when everyone else stopped to rest.

Should we penalize the over acheiver? Take away his accomplishments and give it to those that feel they've been cheated by life.
Of course not. But that what it looks like the liberals of this country now wants.

Big government = socialism

Socialism = trying to put a stop on what man can accomplish

Stopping man from acheiving = the downfall of a great nation

Please share.

The green leaves look ordinary. Egg shaped but with the end being pointed instead of round. Each leaf is a few inches long, and is shiny, like a lot of other tree leaves are. The distinctive characteristic of this tree is the flowers. The petals seem to have their own little red stems. Each petal is a color between pink and purple. A lot closer to pink than purple. The middle of the flower has a green neck with six points on it. Like a six-pointed star. The petals seem to hang around the flower at random, and aren't very neat. Each petal looks a little shabby. There are lots of petals, in big bunches of flowers, to give the tree a look of green with pink blobs, from a distance.

It's not a crabapple tree, because the leaves aren't serrated, and the flowers don't have five neat petals. The petals on stems are only loosely associated with the flowers, such that you have to look closely to count how many one flower has, in a big bunch of flowers and petals. Half-inch petals.

I have a baby turtle. A tiny part of its shell looks like it shed a little bit. There's just a tiny light brown spot now... is this from the turtle growing... its shell expanding?

I'm just curious. Thank you.
