With Battlestar Galactica on hiatus and my tolerance for re-re-rewatching star trek gone, I'm looking for a new good Sci-Fi show to get hooked on for the summer on DVD...Babylon 5 and Stargate SG1 seem to be the other powerhouse scifi shows around, anyone got a suggestion for a good scifi show for a discriminating taste (ie., no campiness or cheesiness)?

My floor only has one washer and dryer, and we are not allowed to use the machines on other floors. I put in my load and returned in 30 minutes to switch it to the dryer (I use a timer, so I know I am not taking too long,) Someone has propped open the door with a HUGE cart of dirty laundry. Was I rude to go ahead and put my second load in? I did get there first, and there was nobody hanging around...

so I got FUSION hair extensions and all the hair is out except 2 thich strands. when i got them put in they used keratin wax (the kind you heat up in heating pot then dip the hair in it). whats a good way to get the excess wax out of my hair? most of it just crumbled and it was easy to remove but some is too thick...

i COULD have it removed professionally but they wanna charge me 600 bucks! help me out!

I moved to St. Louis, Missouri, less than four months ago. And I don't know hardly anyone here, but I'm remembering some gay times (as it were) with my friends in San Francisco before I met My Steve. Steve liked to keep his distance from gays so as not to be hit on, since he was rather ideal "gay bait." But he committed suicide over a year ago, and it's time for me to re-assert my own style: Big Mama who wants friends to hang out with.

How do I break into the scene in St. Louis, or more specifically University City? I don't have a car, and don't even know how to drive, so I must plan my outings with care. No "just go hang out" will work unless it's on the Loop, since I can walk there. I don't feel like I can even identify the gay bars, let alone walk in and get a rousing chorus of "Hello, Dolly!"

I think in words so when I was an infant without words and a vocabulary what were the tools I used to communicate what I was feeling? How did I correlate time and deduce things around me? How did I approve and dissaprove of my environment?

Guy discusses (half of) an article in which the so-called "Father of Climatology" (no explanation of how he got that title or who gave it to him) claims that global warming isn't caused by humans. He just gives his opinion, providing no evidence. Guy fails to mention that the second half of the article was devoted to scientists providing evidence to support their arguments that the current global warming is primarily caused by humans. Answerers eat it up with a spoon.

So now that you know the truth of the article, which would you be more likely to believe?

87-year-old scientist who somehow got the title "Father of Climatology" who gives his opinion that global warming isn't caused by humans.

Other scientists who provide evidence to support their argument that it is.
