Not always, but its easy because sex is equated to love and so you assume that you love them.

Its because it happens when you're young and in a hormonal rage. It isn't based on a long, deep, thoughtful process where you weigh all the pros and cons. When you are young you experience things with a heightened sense of arousal and excitement then add on the fact that you're experiencing romantic love for the very first time in your life. Just like drugs, alcohol and sex... love is never as good or fulfilling as the first time. At that time you were naive to the ways of the world and thought the impossible was true.

When it happens later in life we are calmer, less filled with delusions and our hormones are no longer flooding our bodies and taking over our brains. We have more responsibilities and can see people for who they really are. That's why a lot of people Idolize or pine for their first. They didn't really know them, everything was joy and bliss, there was no reality. No mortgages, no stress, no baggage, no real relationship.

The first is usually just an illusion of chemicals and hormones.

I did. I met up with him 10 years later, thinking he must be the one cause we'd been brought back together. He'd turned out to be an idiot and i fell out of love as easily as i had fallen into it.

I didn't. In fact, after we finished, I think we saw each other once in passing across campus. It was just a lust thing to loose our cherries. Fun, yes. Love? Absolutely not.

If you're asking what I think you're asking, that isn't love. It's lust.

You don't fall in love because of the way someone screws you.

That's just plain twisted.
