You could try sprinkling it with some kitty litter, people use it to absorb grease and oil stains from concrete garage floors.

put cornstarch on the stain after you wipe up all that you can The corn starch will absorb the butter . Let sit over night and wash with hot soapy water in the morning

a 'butter stain'?! I think you need to melt it with hot soapy water to loosen the fats. After you soak it you can scrub it away, but soak it with boiling water & soap or degreaser first

Hot water and dish soap...pour the dish soap directly on the stain....rub it in...then rinse with HOT water.

Use a degreaser and or try usoing dawn dishwashing soap.

Try Dawn... it really cuts into grease... OR SPOT SHOT... it may work as well
