I've been hanging around this one girl a lot. We do a lot of group things together. She's very popular, and gets a text or call on her cell phone like every 5 minutes. So she is constantly opening and closing her purse. When she opened her purse one time, something shiny caught my eye. I did not get a good peak at it, so I got closer and waited for her to put her phone back. I looked in, and it was a pair of handcuffs. All I could tell is that they we're not the furry ones, they were all metal. But maybe they were a toy. One of her friends comes running in and says to come here real quick. She does and forgets her purse. I looked in (did not touch anything) and they were real handcuffs, not toys at all. I walked in and gave her the purse she left. I've noticed these everytime I see her open her purse now. Last week, just me and her saw a movie. Before the movie, she went in her purse to turn off her phone, and they were there still. Why would she have them?

My favorite thing is that everyone has an equal voice. People who are normally shy...can be heard in this format.

What're your favorite reasons?

If your mother was not married to your father back in the time that the OT was all taken seriously, you could not get into heaven. Original sin perhaps? But how is that fair? A child cannot help his parents unmarried state...shouldn't it have been the parents, not the child who got the short end of the stick?

What slogan was bandied about in the 1630’s and 1640’s in England out of protests against King Charles I’s attempts to raise money based solely on his sovereign rights?

This is an experiment I've been interested in conducting since I started the Yahoo Answers deal....

Please, go to my profile and look at some of the questions I've answered (not just the recent ones -- try to randomize a bit).

Based on this, try to judge my age.

And please, comments on AGE ONLY, not on the questions I answered.

You can answer a direct age guess -- ie, a discrete number -- or you can give a range of ages in which you think I belong.

Thanks everyone!

Before i even ask this question, i am not looking for answers from those who want to make some stupid comment. I am all serious here. I was at a church for a long time (well over 10 years). The people where great and i loved the fact that we felt like one big family. Well one day i went to see the pastor about a problem i was having. i really trusted what we talked about would be just between the two of us. well the next day he stood up in front of the whole church and "when you sin..this is what happens to you "and he told my story, but did not use my name. still i knew who he was talking about and that really did hurt me. than a few people in the church began to gossip about it. Thats when i knew i had to leave. I really want to got to a new church, but i am not so trusting anymore and am afraid to get hurt by another christian like that again. should i just not go anymore or should i just try a new church? thanks!

HER: We are here because my boyfriend and I are having a discussion about what I deem unacceptable behavior. When fighting my boyfriend has done the following: held me down, gotten on top of me, held my wrists, blocked the door and told me I am not allowed to leave until I listen to him, look at him, etc. All if he feels I am not listening. This is a great concern to me. I am trying to explain that this is intimidating and aggressive behavior. I am 5'4" and he is a 6'. HIM:I was taught growing up that you should NEVER leave a situation angry. Being that we were having a fight that was unresolved, I thought to myself, "I want to fix this-I don't want her to leave the house angry. What if something happened? How would I feel if she were in an accident?" My reaction was to try and keep her there until things were resolved-so when she was trying to abandon the situation,I tried to hold her down so we could get this resolved. I know this sounds bad but I would NEVER hurt her! I love her

Morality is doing what is right no matter what you are told. Religion is doing what you are told no matter what is right.
