That is not correct. Morality is a system of principles of right and wrong. Always doing what is right when others encourage you to do the opposite means you have the courage to say no to your baser impulses and stick with the courage of your convictions.

With true religion, God gives you the power to do what is right.

well, morality is arguably relative to how you are raised and where etc.

for instance, it might be morally wrong to you for a 12 year old to have to marry a 30 year old. But in some countries, this is a cultural norm.

My mortality can tell me it's right to gun down everyone in sight, it doesn't tell me whats right or wrong just what feels right and wrong.

Religion tells me what's right and wrong, that's why our laws are based on Gods laws and not our mortality. Morality can go from one extreme to another depending on what the particular person sees as moral.

Everyone has different moral standards, but some make/have their own while like you said others get it dictated to them
