my ex told me he had liver cancer, and that he was dying, then he told me the doctors put him on special antibiotics to fight the cancer and that he was still allowed to drink beer on doctors orders.... no one believed him but me, untill i read up on liver cancer etc and came to the harsh reality that he was lying... he even went as far as pretending to go to the doctor for injections and blood tests... he was a smacky and i dint know untill about a month after we started going out, so thats why he had all the track marks on his arms that he use to tell people was from the doctors always needing to draw blood and do tests cos he was dying...

That there WAS a Santa Claus, an Easter bunny and a Tooth Fairy.I confronted parents on all of it the same day, they admitted it was a lie, so I jumped to the next logical conclusion that there is no God, Virgin Mary or Saints either and ran away until I met a deat cat on a rake that had maggots all over it.It scared and sickened me so much that I chose to go back and live with the liars than face the reality of dead cats.

"You are the father. I did not ******* have sex with anybody else"! How did I handle the situation. Well I was 16 so I think I shitted myself. I found out it was a lie in an awkward but wonderful moment at the hospital when the doctor said that I wasnt the father.

An old friend of my husbands, whom is a BIG story teller.
Came over to my parents to help with some project we was working on, he brought his own tools and pulled out a TOOL, cant remember if it was a hammer, wrench or what. But he proudly held up the tool, saying that it was a 30 thousand dollar tool. My dad said, Wow I am a rich man, I have 3 just like that, My dad was sharp tongued and still is.
This was many years ago.

"feel free to be you" and "you are a special person".
I was told the first one at a job that ended up firing me because I didnt fit in with the other drones..
The second one was also a job related one..hmm. See a pattern here? It was a birthday card/party from a department I worked in, the year my birthday fell on a Friday. At 12 I got cake, at 5pm I got the boot.

One time a friend of mine told me that her mom had died on a plane on 9/11, and I really believed her, and was really sympothetic, she was a really good liar because I found out two months later when her mom came and picked her up from school!

The biggest lie is when an old friend told me that he has no sisters. just to avoid me trying to fool around with her,, and I know it was a lie when my mom told me that he has one.

"I do really care about you"

He lied about a million things to my face, threw away our friendship, dragged me throught the dirt to get the blame off him, used me, played me just b/c he "was bored and felt 'playerish'" (direct quote), etc, etc.

I flipped out at first and tried to get even. Then decided just to go away from everything at that time. And I never went back to anything. I just skipped onto another life it seems.
