What are you trying to get from the treatment. Better wear protection? yes it works. Stopping smoke from the exhaust? might work if it is a seal leak but not if your rings need replacing. Getting rid of tapping noise? might work if a lifter had some junk in it and lost compression but not if it is collapsed or your oil pump is no longer working.

Hell no. If you are good to enigine every 3000 miles it will be good to you. Do not put any of those expensive fluids into your engine if you do routine maintanice every 3000 you will be fine. Sometimes if you additives it will hurt your engine in the long run. Well not sometimes all the time it will hurt your engine. An engine is the heart of your car. If you introduce fats in your body you will start to clog same thing with an engine the only way to properly lube with denser materials is to take the engine apart and lube proper with certain parts in your engine. These are gimics and will hurt you in the long run. Good luck and service your engine with proper fluid changes and proper hose changes/plugs/wires. If your engine has a problem then you need to replace a part. There is nothing called engine in a bottle but if you do have a problem and people are promoting this then use it and sue.

Their is no magic mechanic in a bottle. That said, I am an ASE master tech, engine wear can be temporarily fixed but will wear off with normal driving. The best thing for any engine is routine maintenance and oil changes every 3000 miles.

Some people say they do, and others say they haven't noticed any change. If you perform proper maintenance, then you should not need the additives and go with a good quality synthetic oil. The engine should last for a long time and get plenty of miles on it. good luck
