OK, so.. I do no think anyone can just like a specific person in general for their gender. I believe you fall in love for the person themselves, and not by if they have a penis or vagina, or boobs and whatnot. I think it has everything to do with personality and not the physical make-up, and you cannot just be attracted to a specific sex. Does anyone agree?

I recently asked a question about what people thought were the top 5 Presidents of the 20th Century. Several answered including Carter in their list. Why?

As President, I know of only 1 accomplishment, that being the Camp David accords. In every other way, he was a miserable failure as President. Domestically under Carter, we had double digit inflation, high unemployment, high gas prices and gas shortages due to wage and price controls, a weak economy, and a general malaise as it was called then, that America's best days were behind her. He made the decision not to process spent nuclear fuel, resulting in thousands of tons of extra waste.

Internationally, Carter abandoned the Shah of Iran, resulting in the mullahs taking over and holding our embassy people hostage for hundreds of days. The reverberations continue to this day.

After his presidency he has a great record as a statesman and humanitarian, but his Presidency was the worst.

My mother-in-law is about 56 years old. She has always been somewhat of a scatterbrain, but lately she seems to forget just about anything me or my husband tell her (i.e. our schedules for getting together, important events, etc.). I find myself constantly frustrated with her forgetfulness, and I'm starting to wonder if maybe this is the beginning of Alzheimers. Does anyone have any advice/comments on this behavior? Being an in-law, I feel I'm not in a place to suggest she seek a diagnosis from a Dr.

Until I met my present boyfriend, I was a very lonely widow. I am very comfortable and happy with him. Then an old flame revived our freindship. my husband's "mistress" (whom he left me for 6 weeks ago) randomly sends me really rude and uncalled for text messages. they almost always come COMPLETELY out of the blue. like she is trying to start something. i'm to the point where i just completely ignore her. i never even let him know i got the text message. we were trying to be friends, my STB Ex and I, and she was getting in the way of that for a while, but now we're doing good a friends again. she seems to like drama. she braggs about how much $$ he has (though he has none, he just uses credit cards) and complains whenever i ask for $$ for our daughter (waiting on court date for official child support to begin). is she just doing this to drive a wedge between us so we will fight more and NOT be friends? or is she just a bit jealous and insecure?

i just dont get stupid girls! we simply want to be friends for our daughter's sake and b/c both of us agree we can't go from 8 years together to absolutely nothing.

Fpr offices they invented paper shredders for documents with data you'd prefer not be read by anyone in the future. What do I do to my old Cd's and DVD's that I no longer need but want make sure they are unreadable by potential snoops?

Break them up into pieces? Scratch the face?
or is there another way that a business handles these old hunks of plastic?
