My novel is called www.nobodycares.com.

It's about this website that sucks lonely people in and transports them to a magical new world filled of wonder but danger as well. Can anyone give me a few good quotes I could put at the beginning and end of my book? Thank you!

About the quote, I need one that someone said like a famous person. Nothing silly please. I want the quote to reflect lonliness or fear. So please, nothing silly.

The day dawned like any other, grey, wet and dark. She lay there in bed, her thoughts drifting, alternating between that somnambulant state of pure unconsciousness and the wide awake, vibrant, meaningful day that lay ahead. Yawning, she stretched luxuriantly, savouring the warmness of the bed, like a baby chick in a soft grassy nest. Then reality struck her. There was nothing to look forward to, not on this day at least. Living in a city had proved to be lonely .... lonely and boring. No friends, just acquaintances and those only from her place of work. Turning she glanced across the room, gradually brightening as the morning sun began to penetrate the cold mist outside that was slowly dissipating. There she saw her only friend, one that was always there when she needed comfort. Her computer!

At last she was free. The dreams and nightmares were over. She looked down at the small, steel hammer that she still grasped in her right hand, a small stream of blood flowing from the wound where a loose sliver of glass had struck her. The computer was no more, it;'s frame twisted and bent amidst a sea of broken glass, smashed circuitboards and a dented cylinder that had once been a hard-drive. The hammer fell from her hand as she loosened her grip. It was over. No longer a slave to the strange magic that had exuded from the, what, computer? No, it had been more than that. It had possessed a soul, an evil and malevolent being that had taken her very consciousness and moulded it to it's own will. She turned to walk away. Her task had been completed. Now it was time to face the world again, the real world, the one she had been forced to forsake. The door closeg behind her. The computer lay where she had left it, quiet and cold. And yet ..... was there still a spark of life hidden deep inside it's memory. No, there couldn't be ............ Could There?

That any good to you? Just fill in the 99 pages in between.
