Some states are trying to get together and establish a National Popular Vote for President. Under this plan, the states would give all of their electoral votes to whoever won the national popular vote, regardless of who won their state. Their goal is to make a truly national election, since every vote counts and you will not have battleground states getting all of the attention.

I am against the plan on a number of levels. First, all it does it move the attention from a few states to a few population centers. Rural areas will get no attention, nor will their issues. Second, it would be possible for a person to win while carrying only a few states. Third, what do you do if the victory is only by a few thousand votes? Recount the entire nation? My final objection is that this plan moves us one step farther away from the Constitution, and we're too far already.

I need a cheap external dvd writer, i don't know where to buy it. I don't want to spend more than 50 in that. I'd like it to burn any kind of DVD except double layer, that's not necessary and light scribe isn't necessary either.

Well the truth is that I just purchased a tortilla machine and it is wired to run on 208V 3phase power but I only have 220Vsingle phase power at my restaurant , now the question is : can it be converted to run on single phase rather than 3phase , converting my whole power supply will be very costly
also there is 5 wires comming out of the machine 3 blacks L1,L2 and L3 also a green wire for the ground , but there is also a white wire that says N, I suppose is for neutral . I know that I should contact a Licenced Electrician that is obvious
but I just want to touch bases with you and see what do you think. thanks for for your input , god bless.

I've owned a sunfire since I got my drivers license at 16. After I got my license, my father took me to the car lot and told me that I could pick out any pontiac that I wanted. Well of course I chose the sunfire. When I graduated highschool he did the same thing and of course I bought a new sunfire. well now i'm about ready to graduate college and when we went to the lot to look at cars, they have the new G6. So what I was wondering was what car is better the sunfire or the G6? should i keep my old sunfire and wait until i can afford a different car or should i go with the G6?

I have trouble fitting into jeans right.
I'm only a little under 5'2"
My waist is 25"
My hips are 35"
My butt is 40"
My thighs are 23"
The problem is, if you can't tell by measurements, if that if the jeans are small enough for my waist, they're TOO small for my hips, thighs, and definitely my behind!

Does anybody know any brand of jeans (besides Apple Bottoms) made for my kind of body type?
